Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I’ve gone to Mr. Bones the last two years with the kids and decided to try something new. I’m so glad I did! Tina’s Pumpkin Patch in Sherman Oaks was next level. Plenty of free parking right in front of the patch - I was already sold. They didn’t have an entrance fee which was a pleasant surprise. My kids loves everything - the petting zoo, the pony rides, the inflatable obstacle course, slide, bouncy houses but their favorite was definitely the train. Even the workers were kind and engaging. A few photos and more than a few pumpkins later, we were leaving and the kids asked to come back every year. We absolutely will!!”

“Admission is free, but to ride the train and feed the goats, you'll need to buy a token ticket for $4. There are beautiful photo zones and inflatable trampolines. You can buy pumpkins of various sizes for $4 to $35. The location is very convenient, right in the Westfield parking lot. I recommend it, but keep in mind that they close at 8 PM. We arrived late and didn't have time to try all the rides.”

“Absolutely the best Pumpkin Patch in the area! This year they expanded the lot and added a maze and covered seating areas. So many activities to choose from: pony rides, petting zoo, a train, lots of bouncy houses, face paint and others. The staff is super friendly! The selection of pumpkins is spectacular! Huge parking lot so no need to stress about finding a spot close to the gate.”

“The girl with red hair was very helpful and nice when explaining to me the token process! Someone was very rude to her before she helped me out and yet she kept such a positive attitude. People need to start treating workers with the respect they deserve. Definitely recommend coming here for the spooky season and nice staff. 10/10”

“Went here with my cousins days before Halloween and surprisingly they still had a lot of good pumpkins to carve. My cousin even lost his wallet, but was able to get it back with the help of one of the staff. The prices for the pumpkin varies from size and they also sell carvers and stencil for your convenience.”

“The best part, it was free! I got all my pictures and had a good time looking at the horsies and animals, there's a little maze for the kids and inflatables that needs tickets to ride. Overall awesome to take pictures at. Decent prices for the pumpkins, biggest size goes for $35. Small ones are $3”
