“Wonderful Summer Day at Triple B Farms! We had such a great time at Triple B Farms today! We went with our 3-year-old and another couple who brought their younger toddler, and it was a hit with everyone. We came for blueberry and lavender picking and left with full hearts (and full baskets!). The staff were all friendly and helpful, clearly explaining how everything worked and making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The fruit and flower picking was easy and fun. Beyond that, there’s so much for kids to enjoy such as their farm-themed play areas, big tractors to climb on, goats, peacocks, a maze, and other fun surprises throughout the property. Our little ones were completely delighted and could have stayed for hours. The market is lovely too. We went home with some fresh treats and felt great about supporting a local farm while having a full day of wholesome fun. Highly recommend for a summer outing with kids. We’ll definitely be back! It got quite humid during our visit, so we recommend bringing a small portable fan to stay cool in the summer. Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes are a must!”

“I have been going to this farm every year to pick strawberries since I was around 3. When I was younger, I loved playing on the playground with my friends and seeing the animals. I still love picking strawberries in their fields and going for rides on the tractor. I also love the store, which sells delicious honey and canned peaches. The employees are kind and patient to everyone. The space is well taken care of and fun. I would recommend anyone who wants to pick their own food to come to Triple B Farms.”

“Great people. Great fruit, vegies and pastries in the store. Recommend calling ahead to see what is available for picking. Things for kids to do. We didn't pick flowers, did see lot of beautiful bunches others picked. Contacted them yesterday afternoon about wanting pickle cucumbers. They had a bushel for me this morning. Will be going there again. Picture is of a large party that arrived and are waiting to go pick. There was also a birthday party there too in another building.”

“We always come for the pickings through the summer and we did not have one summer that was bad for pickings! We just did the strawberry picking this year! Staff was very friendly. Nice beautiful day. No rush to pick. Love it! The store is cute with many little items from jams, butters, kid’s items, pasta, soups, baked goods… and much more! FYI: baked goods are by far the best in town for farm market.”

“Had a great time doing PYO strawberries with the kiddo! 🍓 This year they're doing $23 per box and each box includes 1 person hayride. Any additional rider will be $3.50. Strawberries were delicious and everyone was super friendly, plenty of strawberries to choose from when we went on 5/24. As of now, PYO is going to be from 9am-2pm starting back up on Tuesday/Wednesday (no PYO on Memorial Day).”

“What beautiful flowers! 💐 You can go into the little shop and buy a bouquet or pick your own flowers and berries 😉. Hubby LOVES the apple pie 🥧 It was nice to have the option to buy 1/2 a pie. Purchase a cantaloupe as well! Many delicious fruits and veggies as well as fudge, jams, cookies and gifts too! Make the drive through the winding roads. You'll be glad you did!”

“Triple B Farm is beautiful- it’s clear this family owned establishment takes great pride in its work! We love coming here and have been doing so since we moved to Pittsburgh ten years ago. I have one suggestion- and it’s a strong one- please make the pricing clear on one large placard posted in numerous places. I am happy to pay for the play area, the hay ride to the fields, the you-pick fruit, the flower picking etc etc etc- what is confusing is how many different times I have to pay for it. Today, I had family in from out of town and wanted to share Triple B Farm with them. We paid for the adults and children. But then when we went to a separate counter to pay for the basket for picking fruit, each adult paid additionally for the ride to the field (minus one adult who was carrying the basket- the price of the fruit picking basket includes the price of the tracktor ride). We also did you pick flower which also included the tracktor ride but again, the first question was how many people in your party- not what activities do you want to do. As it turns out, the tracktor ride to the field was included in the price of the playground area but we weren’t told that so we paid again. It’s not the money I’m upset about- It’s that it is so confusing as to what’s included and what’s not included and you can’t find any clarity anywhere. And because we were double charged, it’s clear the people who work there don’t know either. We were wearing the bands from the playground, but I guess it didn’t matter. So please, make it clear in written form on your website and when you arrive so your employees don’t have to explain it to every single customer that comes up.”

“First visit to this pumpkin farm. Tons of stuff to do for kids. There is apple picking,a tractor wagon ride to pumpkin patch and cut your own flowers. Lots of fun for kids too. I am handicap and they went out of their way to accommodate me.Everyone who works there is so sweet and helpful! My family and kids are all adults and had a great time! If i had to take points off for anything..I do think the apple picking is a little pricey.$20.00 for a small bag, and the flower cutting is $27.50. you do get a metal vase to put them in, but still a little too much. Would I go back? I would!!!”
