A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Georgia.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Visited a few days ago for the first time and then again today. My kids (ages; 2, 4, 8, 11 and 13) loved the sweet blueberries. The farm is beautiful, but more beautiful is Cathie's warm and welcoming personality. She was amazing explaining not just about her farm but also other farms she recommended we visit. I highly recommend this blueberry farm, you too will love it like we do!”

“What a wonderful spot! Tuckaway blueberry farm is super family friendly; our toddler loved walking around and picking blueberries. They had popsicles for the kids at the end and an option to paint little bird houses if you want! Picnic tables in the shade made for a wonderful picnic lunch spot. Highly recommend!”

“Very nice place and friendly people! Delicious blueberry, compliment lemonade, blueberry pies and jams on sale. Blueberries are sold by pounds. Parking, restroom, table and chairs available. The trees give sheds. The big dog is cute, likes to fetch ))”

“We had a great time with the kids at Tuckaway Blueberry Farm. A beautiful experience of picking blueberries. The family is very kind and gave us blueberry plants as a gift. We will definitely repeat the experience and come again”

“We visited Tuckaway for the first time today and had a blast! Really appreciated the attention to detail in setting out buckets and a little red wagon for us to use. Perfect activity for our toddlers!!”

“A lovely place to pick blueberries without herbicide or pesticide use. It's their home, so don't expect hayrides and whatnot. Nice, quiet, and closer to town than many of the other options around. Friendly, kind folks!”
