Turner Farm

“I looked up farms near me & Turner Farm was the 1st farm that showed up on Google. So I went there but it was way too late in the day to expect to get any vegetables or meat. So I parked in the lot that's supposed to be for the sorta co- op they do there.the lady & man explained the part time & full time things you can do to earn sum of them delicious veggies. Next I went to the little floral and meat & veggie bldg.talk to the two ladies that were working in there. One of them told me about the classes in the bldg nextdoor.then gave me a schedule for when they expect certain foods to be in and a small book about their venue n other like minded small farms in the area.i really felt included even though it was my first time & that I had showed up in the afternoon when they were about to close. Plus I love the fact no one was in a hurry to get outta there because they were closing to the public for the day. They welcomed me back any time I like but would have more luck at buying veggies if I get there earlier next time.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“I attended a cooking class (Elevated Burgers) in the Teaching Kitchen. It was awesome. Check-in was a breeze; they poured me a drink while i signed the waiver. They brought a small appetizer immediately, while we waited for everyone else to arrive. The kitchen was very well equipped, and everything we needed was already set up at our station. The instructor was excellent. She was clear with her instructions, and didn't mind repeating herself or working one on one if we got lost. The food was amazing. They added side dishes and we ate in the dining area adjacent to the kitchen. The hostess kept our drinks filled, and they let as sit and talk after we were done eating. I highly recommend attending a class here.”

We also had a superb lunch crafted from organic foods and locally sourced. Go for a class or to talk around or shop at the farm stand. No matter, you will enjoy this working and thriving farm.”
