“Group of 3 girls visiting from Chicago. Dillon the owner was an awesome host and we each had flights of mead. Lots of dry options (I don’t love how sweet mead can be) and loved that the spicy one was actually spicy. He gave us so much info and interesting history of mead! And let us try extra samples alongside our flights. The food was also incredible, especially the shepherds pie special and the smoked salmon chowder. I’d be a regular if I lived nearby! Also sells really cool water buffalo horn mugs”

“One of the greatest experiences in mead I've ever had, ordered two flights of variety meads and each and every one was amazing. For food we ordered the smorgasbord and the baked bree, and every selection on the boards was to die for. If you are in bozeman and have a chance to visit you must try and put Valhalla meadery on your list. For music, for food, for meals that'll make your mouth water and be unable to order a bottle to take home”

Loved the Thor Loco mead, the salmon chowder was perfectly balanced, and I couldn't resist taking home a bottle of the Sweet Earl Grey mead. Bonus points for the live music I stumbled into in the rotation of events. I've loved the experience here both in a large group and as a solo adventure!”

“This is a truly unique experience for one of the oldest drinks in the world. We have been there a few times now and have had all of the meads and most of the food and they are all delicious. There is a type of mead for everyone from dry to sweet and spicy to savory.”

“Ok, so Valhalla Meadery wasn't as hopping as I had hoped it would be but I did have some delicious Nordic potato salad and got to experience my first glass of mead. I can't say I really like it, lol. The classic was alright but heavy on the alcohol taste. I thought it would be sweeter. I also tried one called Rumspringa with tones of butterscotch and caramel. I love both but that one tasted like pure cough syrup so I couldn't finish it at all.
