“I’ve been coming to VanderHelm Farms with my family for years, and it’s one of those places that just feels special every time. The fruit is always fresh and delicious—whether we’re picking it ourselves or grabbing some that’s already been picked at the fruit stand. The people who run the farm are so kind and welcoming, and it really shows how much care they put into everything they do. From blueberries and nectarines to zucchini and more, it’s become a summer tradition we look forward to every year. If you’re looking for a fun outing, or just want the best local produce around, VanderHelm Farms is a place you’ll want to visit again and again”

“This place is awesome for a family outing. Our 1.5 year old loved the goats and horses. Tons of beautiful blueberries sorted by varietals for picking. Also had some strawberries (not as many ripe). And some beautiful peaches. Recommend bringing a little wagon to help you carry buckets if you plan to do more than one kind of fruit. There are also portable bathrooms, running water to wash hands at a trough, cold water bottles for sale, little playground, and lots of rows and rows of fruit. Plan to go back very soon.”

“VanderHelm Farms is one of my favorite family-friendly spots in the Central Valley! What started as my go to place for U-pick blueberries has grown into so much more. I love that they now offer a variety of U-pick fruits and vegetables throughout the season. If you have kids, they’ll love the play area too. It’s a fun way to spend a morning, support a local farm, and head home with some of the freshest fruits and vegetables you’ll find. I always look forward to visiting!”

“This place has acres and acres of blueberries, cherries, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, honey, etc. They have picnic tables and a cute little pond. Bring your walking shoes and a beverage/snack/lunch. A little pricey but a great outing for friends and family. The proprietor is welcoming and explained the whole process.”

“It's awesome, so many fruits and vegetables you can pick. Variety varies based on when you go of course, but we've been for Blueberry season, and this time we mostly went for Peaches & other stone fruits. Price seems fine to me I think. I keep going back.”

“This is a great u-pick place! Prices are reasonable, and the fruits are good with lots of varieties to choose from. We had a really great time together. There were lots of families with children having fun. We will for sure go back soon!”

“Very fun experience. My two little ones, age 4 and 1, loved it. Be sure to take lots of water, close-toed shoes and hats. You will do lots of walking, but my little ones didn't seem to mind as they enjoyed themselves picking fruit.”

“This is the third year we drive from Foster City to VanderHelm and it is so amazing to be there. Variety, quality, and vibes are awesome. Will come back soon.”
