“We just did a long girls weekend at Vee Bar ranch and it was an absolute blast! From the gorgeous Wyoming scenery, to the friendly and experienced service from the staff and the Wranglers; to the once in a life time experiences, we loved everything about it. I don’t have another dude ranch to compare it to, but what we loved was that even though we weren’t experienced horse back riders, our horses were so well trained that we were able to do a cattle drive and actually participate in it and some terrific rides out on the prairies and into the hills. The food and the accomodations are rustic but good so that you felt comfortable but yet it felt like an authentic experience. Authentic is actually the best word to describe our experience. We loved meeting the other guests and the owners Carrie and Brent and their really great staff. It had a wonderful family feel and we felt so welcome and happy to be there. Honorable mention goes to the “John Wayne Saloon” on the property where you could grab a cold drink any time of day or in the evening on the honor system. This was just one of the really nice touches that gave this place such a relaxing and fun vibe. Will definitely be back to Vee Bar Ranch some time soon!!”

“It's hard to express how special this ranch is. But I'll try. The setting is outstanding: the Little Laramie River runs through it, providing a melodic backdrop to your experience. The owners and staff make you feel at home; the wranglers provide safety and comedy for your horseback riding; the iced coffee is the best I've ever had, bar none. My only ding is that there are not enough outlets/USB ports for my devices that needed charging - because God knows you will take so many pictures every day and you'll call all your friends to exult in the day's splendor! The Vee Bars no comparison!”

“Our time at the Vee Bar was truly an unforgettable adventure. From the warm, welcoming staff to the delicious food, fun activities, and the incredible Vee Bar family, everything made the experience top-notch. The wranglers went above and beyond—not only ensuring our safety and comfort, but also making sure every ride was enjoyable and memorable. The variety of activities offered kept each day exciting, and every guest was treated as special, with a personalized touch that made the experience feel uniquely our own. Thank you for the amazing memories—we’re so grateful!”

“Been dreamin' about a stay at the Vee Bar a long time... Everything turned out perfect and late September must absolutely be one of the best times of year to visit. I learned the Vee Bar was a stagecoach stop before they went into dude ranching. That family that runs it now does and amazing job and you can tell western hospitality is in their bones - thank you for an incredible experience!”

“We loved our experience at Vee Bar Ranch. We were in cabin 1 which had 2 bedrooms and extra bed in large living room. Most special was the pond out front, river out back, decor and private secluded setting. The food, service and activities were first class. Absolutely amazing 6-day vacation. If you love horseback riding and beautiful scenery. Vee Bar Ranch is the place to be.”

“We are in Wyoming for a year working. We really needed a break, and this place was wonderful! The staff was amazing! Very clean cabins and surroundings. We loved the views and the little larmie river! Highly recommend going! The hot tub was nice also as we took our chances, it was cold! We will definitely be back before we leave! Hopefully a few times!”

“Had such an incredible time at Vee Bar Ranch! Our cabin was right in front of the river and such a beautiful view to step out to every morning. We spent time on the porch just enjoying the views. ||The staff is absolutely amazing and went over and beyond. Everyone from Kari and her entire family, the wranglers/staff, the horses (Silky was my horse and she was a dream!), and even the family dogs running around. Everyone (and every animal) added to the wonderful experience. The food was delicious and always plenty of it.||The activities were very fun. From shooting, to archery, to horseback riding. The staff made us feel very comfortable, even if it was our first time trying something. We never felt out of place and that added to a very organic experience. ||Coming from Los Angeles, the views in Wyoming are absolutely breathtaking and if you go horseback riding, the wranglers will take you to some of the most beautiful scenery ever! It often felt surreal. We got a taxi into town (don't attempt uber, it is almost impossible) and enjoyed a day out there. A beautiful small town with great shops. ||Vee Bar Ranch is a complete 10/10. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!!”

“It was so much fun! It was very spacious, and we loved the horses! we had a great view from out cabin and behind it was a creek, and we ended up floating down it in tubes. It felt very cozy, and had a great country accent. It had warm colors and it was simple but nice.”
