“We spotted VegOut Farms on Google Maps on a random Sunday morning and decided to make the spontaneous trip, and we are so glad we did. What a hidden gem! From the second we arrived the owners greeted us like we were guests walking into their own home. That warmth never let up and by the time we left we genuinely felt like family. You just don't find hospitality like that anymore. Sitting out on their patio with a bite to eat and a drink, surrounded by nothing but open farm land and fresh air is exactly the kind of reset we needed. It's peaceful, it's quiet, and it feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle even though it's just a short drive off I-10. We came on a day when the strawberries had seen a few cloudy days, so they weren't quite as big as usual, but our little one had an absolute blast picking them and there were still some great ones to be found. ALSO do not skip the scratch kitchen either! We had some of the best pizza we can remember eating, made from farm fresh ingredients grown right there on site. Check out the photos. We will absolutely be back. These people are SO NICE I cannot emphasize that enough.”

“VegOut! Farms is part of the Harvest Hosts program for RVers and we stayed there last night. It was marvelous. We had a wonderful quiet night, but the best part were the hosts and owners, Brenda and Jeff. They were warm and gracious. The little market is adorable and filled with wonderful gift items, jams, mixes, produce, and baked goods. Brenda was making pizzas for customers and we had one and it was delicious. Don’t miss this gem of a stop if you’re in the area.”

“Amazing! The strawberries are beautiful and BIG and sweet! The tomatoes are big and red and very tasty. We had lunch on the patio. It was nice and breezy. The food is amazing! We had the fried zucchini and fried mushrooms! The ranch is homemade and wonderful. The BLT is magic! The crust of the pizza is cooked to perfection! I can’t say enough nice things about this place. The service is friendly and efficient and lots of smiles. It was a delightful delicious day.”

“Beautiful rustic general store offering fresh vegetables from their farm (they sell to HEB), delicious baked goods, and a casual area for having a beer with friends. Later in the year, they'll have strawberry picking open for the public. This was their opening day, and my family had a great time visiting. If you like driving around discovering small towns and their charm, or you live around Brookshire, Texas, you need to stop by and say hello!”

“Worth the drive! There were a lot of strawberries. They were covered so we didn't have to worry about rain. The irrigation did make the ground muddy. We ate at their little restaurant for lunch. I got the brisket loaded potato. It was huge and delicious 😋. My grandson got a burger and said it was better than In and Out Burger.”

“Found it. Superb Fried Green tomatoes. 🍅 Fresh and hearty flavor. Huge Cinnamon Buns and expanding soon for outside patio live players. Lovely people running it. Authentic and perfect. Go.”

“Very friendly! Family Farm, All organic, and an abundance of strawberries to pick! Enjoyed the experience, and will definitely return… highly recommend..”

“Great experience! It's fun picking your own produce! We picked strawberries and they were delicious! Don't forget to pick up some amazing cookies!”
