Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Arizona.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We visited during sunflower season, and overall it was a fun and enjoyable experience. Admission was around $10 per person, and guests could purchase different-sized vases or buckets for flower picking. If I remember correctly, each admission ticket also included one free sunflower, which was a nice touch. The farm is fairly large and offers much more than just flower picking. There are farm animals, beautiful flower fields, local produce for sale, and several areas designed for families to explore and enjoy. Children can interact with and feed some of the animals, making it a great destination for families with young kids. One thing we noticed was that many of the sunflowers had already been picked by the time we arrived. Unfortunately, some flowers appeared to have been damaged during harvesting, possibly because visitors were not always careful when cutting them. Because of this, the sunflower fields were not quite as impressive as we had hoped. That said, we still had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff and facilities were pleasant, and there was plenty to see and do. It’s not a huge attraction, but it’s a charming local farm that is definitely worth a visit, especially for families looking for a fun outdoor activity with children.”

“We had a wonderful time at the Vertuccio Farms Pictures, Play and Sunflowers Day event! For just $10 per adult (free parking), the experience offered great value and if you have kids, a full day of fun. The festival is incredibly family-friendly, with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained. From ping pong, a rope course and mini golf to an adorable petting zoo featuring goats, a camel, and even Scottish Highland cows, and more! There was something exciting at every turn. Almost all the activities are included in the entrance fee. To feed the goats and camel it was an additional $2, and to spend time petting the Highland Cows it was $5. As we don't have young kids, the highlight for us was the beautiful sunflower field where visitors can pick their own flowers. For $5, you're given a small vase and can fill it with as many sunflowers as you can fit—it was fun wandering the fields and choosing a variety of different sunflowers to bring home. Overall, Vertuccio Farms offers a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with friendly staff and plenty to do for families. We recommend it for families looking for an affordable, outdoorsy, farm outing with charm.”

“Vertuccio Farms absolutely nailed the Christmas experience for our family. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into a holiday movie. The lights and decorations were beautiful everywhere you looked, creating such a fun and festive atmosphere for both kids and adults. The petting zoo was one of the highlights — the animals were well cared for, interactive, and the staff was incredibly friendly with the kids. There was so much to see and do that it made for a perfect family night out during the holidays. You can tell a lot of effort goes into making this place special every Christmas season. Between the decorations, activities, holiday spirit, and family-friendly environment, Vertuccio Farms created memories our family will talk about for years. Highly recommend making this a yearly tradition!”

“So much fun for my 3 y/o!! Ticket was $17 per person (free for younger than 2 y/o), definitely worth it for our family fun night. It’s better to buy tickets online (shorter line to get in on Saturday night). My son loved going down the slide, over and over! We went there around 6:30pm. The parking lot was packed but eventually found a spot. I guess it’s better to go there earlier on weekend. There’re many activities and games for both younger and older kids. Very well managed inside and cleaned. Pearl’s mini donuts and picklypear drink were delicious. Love the variety of animals and activities at the farm. All activities were included in that $17 entrance fee. Highly recommended. : )”

“Loved the fall Festival at this place. It was 3x better than what I imagined. Loved feeding the goats and cows. Couldn't get to baby goats because the line was huge and had long wait time. Tubing and corn maze were the highlights.”
