“We came today from Prospect bay, NS (a bit farther than Halifax) with my 5 yo to pick some raspberries, he was so excited to go! He loves raspberries. Unfortunately this year was rainy and there wasn't much to go on, but the lady there was so nice, she offered him some homemade cookies to make his day brighter. We ended up picking some grape tomatoes and had just enough raspberries so my little one was happy! We also visited blueberry u-pick close by, so our visit was fruitful :) I am very happy with our visit! Thank you for treating us well!”

They are always plenty on the vine and the people who work there are polite and knowledgeable. The berries themselves are delicious! “It was good last summer. This time, we were on our way to blueberry picking and knowing that the first round of raspberries is done, and the other one is yet to come, we still decided to stop by as it was open. We went in and really tried to pick at least something, but there was almost no berries at all, and those that we did manage to find were really old that they were falling apart in our hands, so we just couldn’t put them in the pint, I’m not even talking about bringing them back to HRM. So we picked a little over half of the pint, handed the lady 4$, and she said “it’s 6$”. I told her that it’s not even nearly full and she said “well I can’t charge less than 6$”. I just told her to have it and left. I think it’s ridiculous to charge people 6$ for a half full pint of old raspberries, and moreover I don’t think it makes any sense to have it open in between the raspberry rounds. It wouldn’t hurt to just close it and wait it out or at least lower the price for the end of season before the new one comes.”
