Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Pennsylvania.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I love it here! This is typically somewhere parents take their children for a nice festive time but it’s also fun for the adults! The corn maze is always my favorite but this year I also really enjoyed the corn box and inflatable slide! So much fun! I’d say this is a great inexpensive place to take the kids or just to get into the Halloween spirit! The hay ride to the pumpkin patch is a must! We enjoyed carving the pumpkins we got from the patch. Highly recommended!”

“We love going to Weakland Farms! There are hayrides, a corn maze, pretend cow milking, pick your own pumpkins, the bouncy obstacle course, and my son's favorite, the corn pit. Reasonably priced. It's a great place for a day of fun with the family.”

“Very nice place to bring the kids. Prices aren't too expensive to be able to do everything. My kids always loved going there and riding the wagon to pick out their own pumpkins then doing the corn maze.”

“My family loved it. They set up a place where kids and adults could play into corn. It was a lot of fun. The corn field maze was neat.”

“Great fall family fun! They have a childrens play area with bounce houses and corn. Also, they give you a hayride out to the pumpkin patch where you can pick out your own reasonably priced pumpkins. A corn maze with a theme, and some baby animals to look at. We will be back, that's for sure!”

“Please put up more signs as to where to pay to get your wristbands to get in. And also tell that one guy to quit treating people like crap for honest mistakes; mind you that’s after watching them in their cars for literally no reason. That experience made me feel like crap, honestly; he treated us like we were delinquents. Nut shell: I was late meeting my friends at the corn maze- guy thought we must’ve been trouble because my friends were nice and waited outside so I could walk in with them and we could pay together. We just wanted to get out of the house for the night- completely ruined the vibe. Just please be kind and don’t ASSume (see what I did there) people are up to no good unless you have good reason. Just a change in demeanor would have changed that whole situation. Do better, just be a little kinder.”

“They say the hayride stop at six but you better be here 45 minutes before because they actually stop at 5:15 if you are luck to get on the last ride. To be honest, they should have the last ride at six.”
