“We’ve visited Wesley Wells Farm about five times now for different offerings, including u-pick veggies and strawberries, homeschool days, and their most recent $5-per-person roam free play days. The most enjoyable visit we’ve had was the new $5 spring break offering. Parking was excellent—they had someone directing it, and it was very well organized. I will say, though, that we had to dodge what felt like 100 piles of poop on the walk up to the farm. I completely understand it’s a working farm, but it was a bit overwhelming when you’re pushing a stroller and managing several small kids. Luckily, mine are pretty wild and carefree, so it wasn’t a big issue for us, but it might be something worth addressing in the future. There was a very long line to get in, but the staff at the front handled it well, and it moved fairly quickly. On that note, I did observe one worker being a bit passive-aggressive with other guests. We’ve never personally been spoken to that way, but every time we’ve visited, I’ve noticed a few women occasionally using a slightly harsh tone with other families. That said, I can appreciate them standing up for their farm and not allowing it to be disrespected—although at times, some interactions came across as a bit petty. To each their own. The $5 entry offering is fantastic—it’s a great way to bring people in, and I love that you can choose to spend more on add-ons if you want, or simply enjoy the day for $5 per person. We tried the cow feeding, which was a little disappointing. With so many visitors feeding them, the cows just weren’t very interested. We ended up tossing our feed over the fence for later when they might be hungry. Only one or two cows actually took a bite from us, but at least it was only $6 with the transaction fee. The chicken feeding was even more disappointing. The chickens were enclosed in a coop, so we had to toss the feed in, and there were already piles of feed covering the ground. I had expected a more interactive experience, like walking around with the chickens. Because of that, we likely wouldn’t choose to do the feeding experiences again. That said, the rest of the day was an absolute blast. My kids loved the dirt hill, the corn pit, tug-of-war, and the tube. They could have easily spent even more time there than was offered and would have been completely content. We also did strawberry picking, which they had so much fun with. It was great that it was only $5 per pound, and they even had a wash station so we could rinse them off and enjoy them on the car ride home. I know this is a long review, but overall, if someone asked me for a quick summary, I’d say it’s a great place with a true homegrown farm feel. It’s clearly their livelihood, not a commercialized operation, which I appreciate. Just be sure to keep your kids in line—if not, you will be addressed, which honestly I think is a good thing. We’re looking forward to many more visits to the farm!”

“Heartfelt Farm Experience! I had a wonderful time at the inaugural Wesley Wells Strawberry Festival! Even though a recent freeze meant there was no U-pick available from their own fields, the family was incredibly resourceful and had plenty of strawberries brought in from other local farms so everyone could still get their fix. The best part was the atmosphere. The family was so warm and welcoming, personally thanking us multiple times for coming. You can tell they truly appreciate the community support. Highlights: Activities: The pig races were a blast! They had live music and a fun game called "pillow throw" (like cornhole but with pillows). The Farm: Enjoyed the tractor-pulled hayrides and seeing the hogs, chickens, and horses. Vendors: Tons of variety with 25+ craft vendors and about 8 food trucks. Pro-Tips: Go Early: We arrived early and cruised right in, but by noon, the entry lines were extremely long. Room to Grow: Since this was their first year, they could definitely use a few more porta-potties, more picnic tables, and a couple extra food trucks to handle the big crowds. Such a hardworking, appreciative family. I’ll definitely be back to support them again!”

“I recently attended an all-you-can-pick day at Wesley Wells Farm and had such an amazing time. The amount of vegetables, flowers, and fresh produce available to pick was incredible. I left with so much that I could barely carry it all back to the car! The farm is set up so well for families and groups. There were tons of activities like feeding the animals, tug of war, seesaws, and a giant sand hill to slide down. They also had opportunities to make floral crowns and little bouquets, which was such a fun touch. There are beautiful photo opportunities set up all around the property, making it feel like such a fun experience from start to finish. My biggest tips are to definitely wear boots and bring a wagon because you will leave with way more than you expect. Highly recommend for a fun outdoor day with friends, kids, or family!”

“Loved this place. Commercial farm with profitable livestock as well as fruit and vegetables, which you can pick. Very relaxed and helpful staff, like Kirsten and Grayson - so knowledgeable and aware. Pigs, donkeys, cattle, chickens and chick's too. Some of the baby pigs were 5 days old under heat lamps and the chick's were just a day old. Super educational for adults and kids alike. We should remember where our food comes from and wait it takes to get it to our table. There's also lots of play areas for kids and farm machinery to see.”

“Wonderful and friendly! I went there yesterday for the strawberry festival and wanted to show a little love because their entire crop was wiped out with the recent freeze. There were a lot of people and participation, and this is a large farm with animals and agriculture, and I heard they even do a summer camp program there, and I love how this Gospel-centered summer camp has a farm theme during those weeks. I’m already looking forward to going back there again as the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming.”

“I had such a great time at the Sunflower and tomato Soirée. You could pick your own flowers, pick your own veggies, feed the animals and there was even fuzzy cows to take pictures with in the sunflowers. There was some great live music and a on of vendors and food trucks. Tomato tasting, salsa tasting and all kinds of activities for the little ones and big ones! What a wonderful experience!”

“Cute farm! We went to experience their new baby highland cows. They had cows, horses, donkeys, chickens, and pigs. There were several games setup through the area for kids to play. The staff were friendly, and the farm was clean. This was our first visit, but we’ll go back!”

“Had a blast with my 2 year old grandson. Plenty for him to do. He fed the pigs and the cattle, saw chickens and played in the sand, and went on a hayride! Then, took a nap in the car on the way home l o l.”
