“We celebrated a birthday at Whispering Oaks Farm, and the experience was magical! The oak canopy classroom space makes for such a lovely, cool setting. Ashley and Jake have really taken so much time and care to create a welcoming place for children and adults too. The sensory garden was a favorite among all ages, and the children enjoyed watering the plants. The children had an opportunity to pet goats, bunnies, and baby chicks, and enjoyed watching several sweet free-range birds with big personalities. They had the tables all decorated and ready for us and a cooler with ice, which made our food and drink set-up a breeze. We appreciated how willing both Ashley and Jake were to answer our questions about their working farm. Whispering Oaks is a unique and fun experience that does not disappoint. They were so friendly, and we're already looking forward to our next visit on their family day events and future birthdays!”

“This review is for the I.N.C classes. I knew I wanted to homeschool my daughter but at the same time give her some structure and socialization. I heard about the I.N.C classes. After looking into many other options I knew I wanted a place that had certified teachers and enough outdoor time. The teachers are great and my daughter who is very shy still loves it so much. My only complaint which has nothing to do with the school is that it's so far away. I drive about 50 minutes to get there one way. I guess that shows how much we like the school since we spend that time driving. . We go there 2x a week and next year we will probably be doing the same. . Thanks for a wonderful year”

“We've done multiple classes at the farm and my girls can't get enough! Highly recommend Farm School! My girls did multiple rounds and are signed up for next month again. There's always something new to see on the farm. We've milked goats, felt baby pigs move in their momma's bellies, seen new babies of all animals, watched a chick hatch from its shell and hold the new chick. My girls who were not confident with animals wanted to have their birthday at the farm and we did! Growing gardeners also highly recommend. The teachers are passionate about what they do and are such hard workers.”

“I was invited to come check out the farm as they are a homeschool education provider called I.N.C. and I am often asked about homeschool co-ops by my clients moving to the area. This was such a cool experience and I learned a lot about the program, plus see what the students do during the day. This is NOT a public farm or petting zoo, this is a private residence that opened up it's farm to fill a need in the homeschool community. This family spends so much time and resources to make sure not only the animals are taken care of but their students as well.”

“I have been taking my daughter to classes on the farm for years and we love it! They offer a great variety of fun and affordable classes for all ages and holiday events too! The farm is well kept and they are continuously upgrading the children/classes areas! The owner is very knowledgeable of the animals/homesteading - we learn something new every time we visit! We always have a fun time and find everyone to be very friendly!”

“I had a very disappointing experience with Whispering Oaks Farm while searching for a petting farm for my children. I found this business on Google, called, and left a message. Because I was contacting several places at once, there was a mix-up on my end after I received a text with an address and believed it was for the petting farm appointment I had just scheduled elsewhere. I drove to the location with my children, only to learn from the educators/staff there—who were actually kind and polite—that the property was private and was only a preschool program I immediately apologized and explained that I had clearly come due to a misunderstanding after receiving the address by text. Rather than handling the situation with basic courtesy or understanding, the owner came out and was extremely rude, dismissive, and hostile. She repeatedly told me to in an aggressive tone the message she sent(which had an address and stated prior appointments only), spoke over me while I was trying to explain the confusion, and treated me as though I had intentionally shown up uninvited.(gave racist) What stood out most was how unnecessarily nasty and unprofessional her behavior was, especially compared to the educators/staff present, who were much kinder and more respectful. Mistakes happen, and as a parent simply trying to find a place for my children, I expected at least a little grace and professionalism—not hostility. The way I was treated left me feeling deeply uncomfortable and unwelcome. Based on this experience, I would never recommend this establishment to other families!”
