“What a gem. A recent review saddened me. Whitehead’s takes a lot of pride in its produce and in maintaining a comfortable atmosphere. Sure it’s easier to shop imported food at the grocery store. The point of U-Pick is to support Florida agriculture. Folks, Whitehead’s is a family-owned working farm. Weather conditions, replacing stock, crop yields are variables for all farmers. Local farm-to-table produce is getting harder to find. Bring the kids because it’s a great education about how food is produced. Plus, if they’re not tired out, what a cool feature to have a playground and plenty of green space to run. It’s an excellent family-friendly day in a beautiful setting. This year, Jackie offered summer produce from other growers and if you missed those green beans, yellow squash, zucchini, tomatoes, onions and eggplant you missed a treat. Buy local. Buy often. Highly recommend.”

“Whitehead’s Blueberry Farm is one of my favorite places to visit here in my hometown. Not only when the blueberries are in season, but anytime they have events at the farm. I have been to weddings and birthday parties, family get-togethers and of course we love picking blueberries. It’s an annual tradition with my mom. Everyone there is always so gracious and kind and it’s so much fun to ride on the trolley that they have to go out into the fields and pick the berries. Always delicious. Highly recommend. Great for old and young alike.”

“We love Whitehead’s blueberry farm! We recently visited for their Easter family day and had so much fun! You can certainly tell that a lot of time, planning, expertise, and love goes into all they do. The kids had fun hunting around for ripe blueberries and enjoying the other activities that day. The berries we picked were delicious and quickly eaten up. We will continue to drive the two hours to this farm and recommend everyone give them a try!”

“What a lovely place. You get your basket, and you get on the tractor tram that takes you out to the blueberry field. There was plenty to pick. You take the tram back to weigh and pay for the blueberries. They have merch, drinks, ice cream, etc. They have restrooms and photo options. A play area for kids that includes a large wooden tractor for kids to play on. Swings and slides. I would go back.”

“I have to eaten roughly 6 lbs of berries picked last weekend that I didn't even bother to wash. 😂Incredibly sweet! Also, we always have the best time visiting. The kids have a blast, so much to do and see. Even with the freeze, everything looks great this year and the newer bushes are coming along nicely! Thanks for everything you do.”

“I come here every year, and I am never disappointed, including this year. The berries were fat and delicious. Many of them don’t even make it home because I eat so many on the way. There’s also a small playground for the kids. Highly recommend.”
