Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Tennessee.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Came in today to pick a couple of gallons of blueberries. It was my first time and Jamie was so great and helpful. She explained the process to me and then told me where they've recently seen a plethora of blueberries and off I went. The property is beautiful and even now in the second week of July, there are still a ton of blueberries ripening and many many many blueberries ready for picking. They do allow you to pick your own blueberries and also sell pre-picked quantities. You would just have to contact Susan first (her number is listed on their posts on their Facebook page!) The prices are very fair for pick your own especially. I'm very glad I went and had this experience. Will be returning here again. Thank you to Susan for allowing me to come and pick berries on a day they were closed, because it was my only day available and the only tolerable heat day in the near future, and a thank you to Jamie for helping me out today and explaining everything! The blueberries are DELICIOUS.”

“Loved picking blueberries there this last week! I’m a photographer (Memphis Family Stories) and found this to be a beautiful place to document my family and friends while we were picking, too. The blueberries tasted amazing, were really well-priced, and I’m excited to go back this week. I also appreciate that the owner posts the hours she will be open for picking on their Facebook page!”

“What a great experience! Especially with kids. Shady in the rows, great even on a hot day! Such a nice owner. Tastes much better than buying in store and of course so much cheaper!!!”

“The best blueberries ever from the nicest people. Don’t miss the opportunity to pick your own gallon of berries. Take the little ones, they will live it.”

“The owner was nice and explained everything we needed to know + where to find the best blueberries in the field. We had a great time picking the berries!”

“Susan was an absolute pleasure to work with. The blueberries were delicious and so fun to pick with the family. Will definitely be stopping here again!”

“This was an odd experience for me. I had to ask someone where to get the buckets, I had no clue where to pay so I left money on the table. I was calling the place and no one was answering and I tried to knock on the door. Just very confusing. I didn’t know where to park so I kinda of winged it & parked in the front. Good blueberries though.”

“Called to ask if pick your own was available this weekend and was rushed off the phone, tone of the man’s voice was very irritated and pushy. Hopefully this is not the experience I have with my little ones when we go if I can’t find anywhere else.”
