Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oklahoma.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Great day trip for the family! You can pick your own peaches, and even eat as many as you can while you are picking...they encourage you to sample them to know which varieties you like. They have multiple types in their Orchard, so there are always fresh peaches throughout the entire growing season. There is a fruit and vegetable stand if you just want to grab some already picked, along with produce from other local farms for sale. Lots of great things for the kids...including ice cream!”

“You guys! We had so much fun today! Never been to an orchard before and this was quite the experience. From the plethora of peaches (who knew there were so many different varieties?!), to the delicious peach teas and peach desserts, this awesome experience was the total package! Thanks to all the funtastic staff at Wind Drift that totally made us feel welcome and were so accommodating! Make sure you go before the season runs out!”

“Lovely orchard, friendly folks, lots of peaches! You can pay for a box of peaches, or pay entrance fee and choose to be transported deeper into the orchards to walk and pick your own, which is what we did. We picked a variety of ripe and hard peaches, which all is required is to keep them a few days and they will ripen. We always purchase the largest box, plenty for cobblers, freezing and sharing with family and friends.”

“Staff was very friendly and the young gentleman who drove the golf cart took us to multiple different parts to pick what he thought were the best peaches. Even though it was hot, it was a great experience for me and the kids being able to pick different peaches from the tree and eating them right there, fresh and warm from the sun. It is a bit expensive having to pay admission and for the box of peaches, but for a one time a year experience, not horrible. At the end, you do get free ice cream and it was so amazing. I would definitely suggest if you're already in that area of Oklahoma. Also, don't wear sandals like I did wear shoes and socks because some of the areas have stickers, and don't forget a hat and sunscreen.”

“Have been twice before, this time they are charging 10$ a person to pick peaches, then you pay, I don't mind paying for good fresh produce but 40$ for 24 small peaches, 14$ for salsa and small jams is kinda high. Spent 28$ for a slushy drink, small jam and 4 peaches”

“Had always wanted to check this place out. Recently I got engaged and I thought this place would make the most amazing venue for my wedding (as they do advertise that they do small weddings). I called a couple times with no answer so I finally messaged them and got a couple replies before they altogether just started leaving me on read. Super rude, unprofessional, and altogether heartbreaking for such a beautiful place!”
