Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I would rate Woznica Orchard way more than 5 stars if it let me... My husband and I had the good fortune of finding Woznica Orchard last fall. Being so close to where we live led to many wonderful weekends of apple picking and the miracle of my husband becoming an apple eater! We loved the friendly staff, the quality of their apples, and the straight forward pricing. My husband also enjoyed picking up some fresh honey while we were there :)”
“A great experience with fantastic apples. We got some really delicious Honey crisps that were huge! The peck we picked was 11 lbs. Excited to try the honey as well. Really easy in and out and beautifully maintained orchard. Extremely friendly staff. Thank you.”
“This is one of those places that once you go one time, you’re going to want to keep going back! Amanda is the sweetest and so welcoming to everyone. Such a well organized and maintained family orchard. Definitely worth the trip if you don’t live locally!!”
“This place is such a local favorite. From the scenic views to the friendly owners this place is always a great time. Super kid and family friendly we’ve even brought our dog before. Do not miss out on this gem right in our back yards!”
“Literally down the street and never knew because rarely went that way! Until my daughter took my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter to Yoga in the Orchard! Best time ever and brought apples 🍎 over after. I will now support them …”
“Went there for the first time this year!! Got apples to add to ours for some homemade apple sauce and butter and grapes! Met the lovely people who own it! They were so nice. We will be back!”
“We visited for the first time September 21st my Birthday with my kids and grandkids we had a wonderful time .The apples are yummy and we will be back again”
