What visitors say

“The farm was on a lovely piece of land with a few trails that go around the farm and through the land around it. The staff was so very kind, and guided us to where we could find the goats and chickens that we could see and touch. There is a small, free parking lot for about 20 cars available on site, and there is a free bathroom for public use as well, on site. There is plenty of open space, and trails to explore at the farm, and during the spring and summer seasons, there are fields to pick veggies from, and there is a shop that I believe you can shop for honey from their bees on site as well. We were there during the week, in Winter, so there weren't any veggies to pick or honey to buy, but the land was lovely to walk around to get some fresh air. We will certainly try to go back again.”

“When visiting the farm, be sure to check out the "Fast Forest" featuring all native shrubs and trees that thrive in a wetland environment. The forest was planted by all volunteers in September, 2024 using the Miyawaki method, with the aim of accelerating the growth of a mature forest from 150 to 30 years. Walk down the main gravel driveway past the big barns, go down the hill, and check out the young forest on your left across from the pond.”

“I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful wedding at Wright-Locke Farm, and it was such a lovely experience. The open fields and peaceful surroundings create such a charming and relaxed setting for a wedding celebration. Throughout the day, the atmosphere felt warm and joyful as family and friends gathered together. It truly is such a special place for a countryside wedding. IG @nicolechanphotography”

“We recently held a Celebration of Life in the new All Seasons Barn, a wonderful setting and the perfect space for our event. The event team was great to work with and very accommodating, we were able to make last minute changes to the seating arrangements, and they didn't skip a beat. The entire property is amazing, Winchester is so fortunate to have it.”

“Came here with my daughters for a school educational program on maple sugaring. Our guide was so kind and knowledgeable and taught us a lot. We were a big group and had a lot of fun learning. Would definitely recommend”

“Such a lovely little farm! We arrived late in the afternoon and were the only ones there, so it was quite a peaceful walk. The chickens and goats were friendly and talkative as well!”

“We had my wife’s birthday in the 1827 Barn and it was great! Beautiful space and working with the folks at WLF was a great experience! Highly recommended!”

“It's was an OK. There's limited parking but just down the street is park you can use. They have some goats you can see and a small walking path. When we went you could not walk in the farm itself. Not sure if that's the norm. Restrooms were very nice.”
