Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Indiana.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Quality of the berries is excellent. I have no reason to raise my own. I purchased 3 flats.Didnt throw out poor qualities. Berries are better than sweet corn Charlie's offerings. 👍👍”

“We love this place! This is the second year in a row I’ve taken my daughter. She loves eating them as much as I love picking them. The price is excellent, too!”

“The berries were so delicious! I had forgotten what homegrown strawberries tasted like after having ones from the store all winter. These were amazing!”

“Strawberries were sweet. But we went the last week of the season so all the big ones were picked. So next year we will go in the beginning of June 🤣🤣”

“First time going today, loved it, great price!”

“Great little place to have fun with your family. They have containers you can buy or you can bring your own. They charged $2 per pound for the large box pictured. The total cost was $15.50 for 6.75 lbs. I will say the patches have been / are being picked pretty well by the employees before we get a chance to pick. So, most of the strawberries we picked were on the smaller side. They do have large berries being grown, but the employees only leave the big ones that are bad in the field. They pick the rest themselves, I assume. Overall, it is worth the price for the memories made...”

“This was our first time picking here. Three of us were picking on June 17th, 2025. The strawberries were $2.25 lb if you picked. They also had some that were already picked for a little more. Pro: The berries had a good take and a good price. Con: The berries were very small. That could also be a pro for those who like small berries. However, we were hoping for bigger berries. I'm not sure if they were at the end of their picking season, but you'd think we'd still find some larger berries then what we picked. I guess I can't attach a picture, but the largest berries were about an inch, and far and few between.”

“I was very disappointed in the strawberries when I went. They were very picked over and tiny.”
