Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Florida.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“The farm has both crunchy and soft persimmons, we had a great time picking fresh persimmons off the tree. Buckets are provided by the farm but you can also bring your own basket. I strongly recommend checking out their website, it’s very informative and well organized.”
