“Wonderful and beautiful experience visiting Akron Acres! My brother and sister in law came here with me today and were treated just like family from the owner Marilyn, so kind and hospitable to us. I’m visiting from GA and have been to many small petting zoo/farm/country store and this one really stood out..was so picturesque, grounds kept beautifully, animals well cared for and well run by owners Marilyn and Jack, very nice couple who’s been doing this for 35 years and it shows they love what they do. This was definitely the highlight of my trip visiting family. Loved all the baby goats and sheep we could hold and sweet little bunnies too. Adorable pigs would do tricks for watermelon, Marilyn showed us and it was so cute! Also had donkeys, beautiful horses of various breeds and sizes. The farm, gardens and overall property are so incredibly beautiful! Really enjoyed the country store as well, Marilyn loved showing us all around. One of the nicest people I’ve ever met, I hugged her at the end thanking her for treating us with so much care and hospitality. I could easily spend a full day here taking it all in. They also have a little pond you can walk out to with a deck to enjoy the fish swimming around in it and cute ducks. I will definitely be back next year when I visit WNY again!”

“Akron Acres has the most beautiful wedding venue around. We had our wedding here and we could not be more grateful to have found this place. Mary and Marilyn were absolutely amazing to work with. They both responded quickly and always made sure everything was how you wanted it! Their rental list was great so we didn’t have to bring as many items the day of, especially because the set those all up for you as well. The bridal cottage is a perfect add on and we loved getting ready in there. Mary does an amazing job planning everything out to a T, such as where the tables will go, how the chairs will be set up for the ceremony, etc. There are so many places around the farm to take beautiful photos. Our wedding day was perfect because of the Kelkenberg family. Do not even question having your barn wedding here, it is a must!! Words cannot describe our love for this family, their farm and beautiful venue.”

“Had a field trip here with my child’s kindergarten class, they had a great time! The area is beautiful and the farm’s owners were amazing, explained everything to the kids and I even learned some things I never knew about the animals. There were the cutest baby goats when we were there too, just a few days old. Would definitely go back again!”

“Such an amazing experience. From the Barn, the horse drawn carriage ride, ease of cutting and placing the tree, the full service pickup of the tree, wrapping to tying it up, yummy fritters, cider and hot chocolate-this place is great. Such a lovely team working too!”
