Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.

Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Lovely farm to u pick blueberries. Easy access to berry bushes. The farmer will direct you to drive your vehicle down to the bushes. The berries are loaded and there isn't the need to crouch down (for those who have mobility issuses) since the bushes are not liw to the ground. Friendly courteous service along with a peacefull surrounding. Be sure to check out the pond! It was my lucky day since I saw some geese!”
