What you can pick

In August, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Washington, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Washington.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“We visited Allview orchard in end of August, 2022. The owner were very nice and accommodating towards our request to visit their orchard without any reservations. Fruit picking wasn’t available due to in between crops season of Cherry and Apples. However they took us to a tour of their apple orchard and explained all about apple/cherry farming. It was a very amazing experience. Best part is their products. Apple /Pear dried chips is a must try fantastic snack and apple cider is just what I needed on a hot day. Highly recommend visiting this orchard.”

“Apple Pear Cider may be the best drink/juice I have ever tried. It is really that good. The Honeycrisp's are sweet but not overpowering. The Pear is noticeable and great balance to the sweet of the Apple. The juice is pasteurized so it lasts forever. If you have the chance I recommend you get a case. You won't be disappointed.”

“Most amazing experience Debbie and Ed have a great Orchard. They have the most yummy cherries. They accommodated us and our friends for a quick Cherry picking experience! Highly recommend going there. Would recommend taking a picnic basket to have by the river.”

“Excellent experience! There are a good variety of and apples and pears. We will definitely be making apple crisp and caramel apples”

“We just happened to stumbled across this place. Ed, the owner, chatted with us and showed us around. Super awesome!”

“The cherries are truly amazing. Never had anything like them.”

“We came first time there. 1. A lot of signs saying no transparent, no parking, we are recording you. It was really confusing if we were welcome there or not. So, for the first comers, don't be confused. Just drive up to the hill and find Deborah. 2. Cherry was really good, but I think it is overpriced. For the small bag, we paid $20 (for the box $120). We finished them super quick, and then I bought the same cherry from Smallwoods market for $12 (2 pictures from for comparison attached). 3. We couldn't pick up cherries because workers were there on Sunday. So, if you're planning to pick up cherries, make sure to call first and see if you will be able to do it.”

“The drive is super scenic — part of it hugs the lake. But it’s $10/lb.”
