“Brownfield Orchards has been around longer than Bear Foods and growing CERTIFIED-ORGANIC fruit of several kinds for multiple generations. In fact, they are Washington State certified organic producer #0001. 😎 Yes, #1. They were the very first in our home state to go through the USDA organic grower inspection process. As a retired organic produce buyer for a local natural grocery store (Bear Foods Natural Market, supplying the public with organic products since the early 1970s), most of my favorite fruits come from this (and one other smaller) organic orchard out here on the Howard Flat and Apple Acres areas northeast of downtown Chelan, Washington, USA.”
