Apex Orchards

“Of all the places I've picked peaches/apples, this orchard is by far my new favorite. Located off a rural road, and on the side of a mountain, it's extremely quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. The views of the expansive landscape as we picked peaches were truly amazing, and greatly enjoyable. I can only imagine how breathtaking it must be in the fall as the leaves change colors. The peaches we picked were, without a doubt, the best I've ever had. They were so big, ripe, and unbelievably juicy. They were *literally* pouring with juice every time you took a bite. As I write this review, I wish I had picked more because they were seriously that good. There is a tractor that takes you a very short distance to the rows of peaches or apples. My small kids loved it. What an enjoyable time, and I can't wait to come back in the fall to pick from what looked like a very good assortment of apples.”

“I'm really happy with what Apex Orchards had done with the absolutely incredible view on the hill. This was a spot I would love to just sit on my car on the side of the road and enjoy. I didn't know how I felt about the new store at first. But it's actually really really nice. You can enjoy every bit of the scenery and enjoy a fruit and drink while sitting down on the deck. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. When I went it must have been peach season because there were a lot of peaches available and they where absolutely delicious. There where also some really good little plums. Overall I really love this addition to the already amazing view. Photos just don't do it justice. It's a place you must see in person. You can see the city of Greenfield from the deck.”

“Beautiful spot for apple picking! When we went there were food trucks with donuts and hot dogs and adult and baby cows to pet and feed. The only thing is, though the farm store opens at 9, the apple picking and donuts don't start until 10. They were nice enough to let us start apple picking early. I explained we were visiting from out of state for a wedding and really only had an hour to spare that Saturday morning. Several varieties of apples are available for picking and they have plenty of other items available in the store. I loved trying the new variety of apple they have samples of at the cash register. Definitely a kid-friendly place!”

“Lovely orchard with a beautiful view! They had a good variety of apples (Empire, Golden Delicious, Cortland, Macintosh, Macoun, Honeycrisp, but all out of GingerGolds). The farm store had pumpkins and lots of yummy treats as well. Fresh donuts are sold on the weekends only.”

“Love buying apples here. They have a great selection, including hard to find heirlooms. Their winter store is a haven of fresh fruit. Love the deals on 2nd apples.”

“Excellent fruit, beautiful environs. We went to the self-service sale area in the warehouse. The farm store opens in August.”

“We went to a weekend Apple & Cheese event. They have a very picturesque setting with endless views, and there were some food and craft vendors, as well as a talented 4-man band. “Beautiful view of property. Wonderful orchard, nice ripe peaches. Lots of vendors there for The Peach Festival. Dogs allowed except in orchard. I will return next year.”
