Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Arizona.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“My daughter and I picked apricots and 4 varieties of cherries. We enjoyed watermelon cherry slushes, purchased fresh delicious fudge, cherry and peach ciders, and ghost pepper cheese. The experience of picking our own fruit was fun. Just make sure to wear sunscreen or bring umbrellas because the summer sun is here! I would also recommend bringing a small wagon or cart for a family excursion or maybe a reusable grocery bag for an individual or couple who plan to pick more than one bag of fruit. The ladies' bathroom was clean also. Great experience!!!”

“We had an amazing time at Apple Annie's You-Pick Orchard! The orchard was beautiful, and picking our own peaches, plums, and apples made the experience so much fun. The fruit was fresh, delicious, and plentiful. Everyone was friendly, and it was the perfect way to spend the day with family. We made wonderful memories and can't wait to come back next season. Highly recommend Apple Annie's to anyone looking for a fun day outdoors!”

“Great place to pick fruits and vegetables. Friendly people. Timing is everything. Helps to call and find out what's available. We got there late Sunday and they were picked clean.”

“We took 2 of our gkids there to pick Peached n Plums. Pretty cool. Been wanting to go for years now finally did. It was worth the time”

“Really awesome experience! We had fun on a day trip to get here. We went around 11 am and it was relatively empty. It starts to get busy around 12pm. We were only here for 1.5 hours and we got everything done! Picked apples, peaches, and pears. One thing to note is that naturally, most fruit had a blemish on it or was partially eaten by an insect or bird. Might have just been our timing; late in the season.”

“Great experience for picking your own fruits 🍎 🍐. You get to use their pull cart. Their restaurant was more of a kiosk type. A bit of a disappointment for me, but to each their own. No indoor dining. After a hot Arizona summer day of picking fruit you sit under a Ramada with no cooling mist”

“I was very disappointed in my experience here. I came with family to pick pumpkins and visit the corn maze. I was most looking forward to the cider and donuts advertised online. We drove 3 hours from Peoria and arrived at opening. Upon driving in, one of the workers rudely commented on my driving before telling us where to park. Not a kind move. Then, we walk in to bathrooms with no lights on. Plenty of workers moving around, yet no help. The doughnuts smelled delicious, but none of the workers told us when they would be available. The attitude of the workers gave a nonchalant vibe. Lack of interest in helping customers. My positive part were the pumpkins at the patch. Lovely, inviting and beautiful. Overall, not thrilled with the lack of service. Glad I didn’t spend any money here.”

“Too far to walk to the peach picking area. Would suggest providing golf carts to transport people with breathing problems to make it enjoyable for all. We left without peaches. Very disappointed.”
