“Apple Castle is one of best Farmer's Market style stores that I have ever visited. They use their space efficiently and are able to put a huge amount of produce, deli items, fresh baked goods, spices, beverages and really just most of your food needs in a fairly small amount of square footage (compared to grocery stores). Their shelves are always neatly organized and attractive; arranged so that you can easily find whatever you need/want. Their produce is second to none! Their deli boasts my favorite lacey Swiss cheese (seriously, I haven't found this cheese anywhere else in the nation.) Their donuts are delicious! If we have an early morning volunteer event, we stop by to pick up a couple dozen. They are always featuring seasonal flavors like blueberry, cherry, strawberry lemonade, pumpkin and apple. They also bake a great assortment of cookies, breads, and buns. I refuse to eat any jam except theirs. My current favorite is the Tart Cherry Jam while my kids consume the strawberry jam and my husband likes the apple butter. They are very involved in their community in many ways. They feature many events throughout the year to teach people about how farming works and allows the community to see farming on a daily basis. This is a multi-generational family business and the Johnston family are all really friendly and kind people. They love to teach people about agriculture and have created an inviting atmosphere at their farm and market. I appreciate that this business has chosen to be closed on Sunday's to allow for a day of rest and worship for their family and employees. They will always be our favorite market!”

“Never heard of the Apple Castle (we are not from the area) but happened to see a sign for it and decided to check it out. Pretty cool place with lots of goodies especially when we visited, the fall! It was so colorful and the 🍎 🍏s are delicious! We even met a cool 🐈 catching a nap on the hay. If you happen to be in the area, definitely worth a visit!”

“We had a wonderful time bringing our kids to Apple Castle. The Apple orchard is fun to walk through and bring home some good apples. The pumpkin patch is a good size too and there are plenty there. If you want some good spices and healthy options of food, check out the store inside of the castle”

“First of all, I wanna say that I absolutely love this store. It was really cool to shop at. they have grocery carts so you can put some things in. They have a deli that you can buy fresh deli meat and they also have a bakery and they do have a bathroom so that’s good for the public and then outside they have where we could shop for pumpkins and also they had apple trees that you could pick your own from which I thought was really cool so it’s a great place to visit they have lots of parking, but I have to say about the items I wasn’t very happy now I’ve tried a few things not all of it that I’ve bought. I’ve tried yet., but so far the apple and cherry fritters I bought seemed like they were not very fresh more on the day or two old side. Then I’ve tried the apple cider and it has a very funny or odd taste it’s just not right. Not nasty , but not something I’d buy anymore. But there’s a lot to choose from, so 4 stars and I’d recommend a visit. Also it is a little on the pricey side so definitely be prepared to spend money. They take Apple Pay , so that’s a plus!”
