“Applewald Farm is a beautiful, off the beaten track, refreshingly down home, low profile and high quality orchard and farm store. Pick your own or buy by pound: Macs, Honeycrisp, Zester, Gravestein, Cortland apples, other produce, and excellent cider donuts (That actually taste like cider). Also sell a wide range of pies & other home-baked goods & local cheeses. Freshly pressed apple cider is delicious, no preservatives (no weird aftertaste). The best. Litchfield, ME”

“Such a lovely place! The countryside approaching the farm is spectacular and we were welcomed with a pleasant greeting once we arrived. The variety and quality of their own fruits, veg and pastries along with other Maine-made products added to charm and ambiance one would expect from a country farm. We stopped for apples and left with so much more! We will be back again and sign up for the CSA next season! Thank you!”

“Had a great time picking apples with our toddlers today. Cortland and Macintosh seem to be the upick varieties. There are wagons and picking poles for you to use as needed. Windfalls have a seperate lower price and it's a great way to stock up for cooking and preserving. The store has a ton of baked goods and preserved foods, as well as produce and berries. Super friendly and nice folks.”
