Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Florida.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

76 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“The best strawberries I've ever eaten. The fragrance and color was remarkable. All were perfect, of the same size and taste. They were very fresh and not a one was blemished or spoiled. I have eaten strawberries from Poteet, Texas when they had their annual strawberry festival. Astin strawberries were the most flavorful and I will always look for them when shopping at the grocery store.”

“Their strawberries were the best I've ever had. They were huge, red as can be, fresh and beautiful. They tasted great. Even the leaves were beautiful. The presentation in the container was even pretty. Very surprised considering Walmart fruit isn't normally better than Publix fruit. Thank you farmers!”

“I live in Buffalo NY & have been buying Astin Farms strawberries for weeks now at our local grocery store. These are the best strawberries I've ever had !!! Kudos to the farmers that feed us all so well ❣️”

“I love your strawberries! I buy a big container every week at our local Walmart and eat a good handful every day without sugar.”

“There was a little confusion with the pickup number and than waited about 2 hours than finally a call to head to dock took about 1 hour for loading got paperwork and headed out I think one of the owner was there real decent guy but there was a Mexican I think with a attitude problem the pickup number I gave him was a cancel load the owner told him the pickup number and where the load was going but I think he just had issues he needs to keep it at home”

“Sometimes they are good but lately they are not fresh ,1/3 ripe, 1/3 green, 1/3 rotten. They are gased just like tomatoes.”

“I came to this warehouse for loading, but they took too much time. The broker told me the load was ready, but when I reached, it was not ready at all. I ended up waiting for a long time. Very poor management. I strongly advise others not to come to this warehouse for loading.”wasting my time and fuel”

“Takes forever to check in. I guess they don’t feel like working. Empty shipping office without any note when they are coming back . Next time I’m gonna refuse to pick anything up from them. Don’t even bother coming here, if you’re running out of hours.”
