Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We had a wonderful time this year! Be sure to bring good boots that you don’t care if they get mud on them. There is something for all ages. Very cute unique items in the gift shop. I recommend getting the full ride bracelets if you intend to do most of everything, especially with your kids. I also recommend planning for 4-5 hours to get everything done. Have fun at the little animal farm. Feed the goats for sure! Our kids loved the obstacle course! They could be in there forever. Be sure to put them in bright clothes so you can better find them. The slides are cute and the Apple cannon was good for all. I couldn’t do the mazes as I’m allergic. The large maze does take an hour. They have food and drink vendors. The Apple cider donuts were perfect and paired with Apple cider slushies, you can’t go wrong! Be sure to take the hayride out to pick out your pumpkins! Definitely plan to keep going back with the family each year. 😊 #BaumanFarms #Halloween #Fall”

“We spent hours here during our first visit. I couldn’t believe how much there was to do and how large the farm is. All the activities are very organized and the entertainment is nonstop. We met the wizard of oz and took pictures. We played on a few different playgrounds and obstacle courses. There was an apple cannon, multiple slides, train rides, petting zoos, gem mining, huge bounce pillows, hay ride, pumpkin picking and a corn maze. It was incredible! My husband actually lost his phone on one of the ladybug trains and it was turned into the information booth. People were kind. We really enjoyed our time. It was $30/person and then we spent $17 on 3 pumpkins. It was worth the experience in my opinion. It’s like a mini pumpkin town here. We also ate the most delicious asada tacos, the tastiest apple cider donuts and apple cider. I almost left my donuts behind and the employee reminded me about them…again, just very kind people and a fun experience.”

“Amazing experience. It’s the disneyland of pumpkin patches, so many attractions, several different mazes, obstacles course, several jumping pads, a lot of sensory play for toddlers (chestnut pit, corn pit, hay pit) and so much more, it checks all the boxes. We were there for 5 hours and did not even do it all. Vastly superior to every other pumpkin patch I’ve gone to in Oregon because of all the attractions and the fact that it is clean, well organized and has friendly staff. Strongly recommend.”

“We had never been and it is a tradition to go to a pumpkin patch every year. We heard there was fresh donuts here so we thought let's go there. We showed up and had no idea we were headed to a carnival. This place was awesome and huge. Our kids are all grown but we still had a blast. Doesn't matter how old you are, you will have fun. We plan on going back next year as well. Bring boots if it has been raining. It is still a farm. High heals and tennis shoes will not be a good choice lol!!”

“Great fall festival! The apples they have on hand are so good and reasonably priced per pound. Some varieties I have never heard of and they let you sample them. The cider donuts and their fresh apple juice is so yummy. The prices are extremely reasonable, and there is stuff to do for all ages. If you are in the area stop by and enjoy this family fun activity. Great photo opportunities. And who doesn’t love a petting zoo?”

“Such a great farm! And the prices were amazing! So much for the kids to do. The sandwiches were so good, not like a normal activity where they only serve fried food. We also were very impressed by the price of the plants! You would think they would hike up the prices because it is their season, but they have more reasonable prices on plants than even Walmart! So impressed Only downside is the bathroom situation!”

“Bauman Farms- such a fun place for kids and adults! Huge farm store with all types of goods and decor, food, petting zoo and huge play are for the kids. We were visiting from out of town and will definitely be back! We were not there during a festival, just during regular business hours on Thanksgiving week.”

“Large pumpkin patch with activities for the whole family. Store sells holiday items for Halloween & Christmas. They also sell food and baked goods.”
