Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Jersey.
- Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Great place to pick blueberries. There is an admission fee, but that fee will go towards the price of your picked berries at the end. They have a lot of rows of blueberries and a few varieties. The staff will let you know which rows have the best berries for the day you are there. They will supply you with buckets/tins (pre-weighed so that weight gets deducted from your final weigh so you are only paying for the berry weight) to pick your berries, but you will have to transfer them to your own containers before leaving the farm. If you bring your own container to pick with they will weigh that in front of you and mark the weight on your container as well. If you forget to bring your own containers before leaving the staff tries their best to find you an empty box that you can use to take your berries home.”

“We had a wonderful visit to this beautiful family-owned farm! We highly recommend following their Facebook page before your trip, as they post important updates about weather conditions and picking availability. The blueberries were large, fresh, juicy, and incredibly easy to pick—even for our three-year-old. It made for a fun family activity, and we all had a great time. Just try to avoid visiting on an extremely hot summer day! 😄 Admission was $5 per adult, and the ticket includes a certain amount of berries. If you pick more, it's only $2.50 per pound, which we thought was very reasonable. Before leaving, we also purchased their homemade honey. It was absolutely delicious, with a lovely floral flavor. Overall, we highly recommend this farm for a relaxing and enjoyable family outing!”

“We went o Bear Berries at the end of the blueberry season, the Bluecrop blueberries were surprisingly sweet and delicious. Blueberries were only $2.50/lb, and the farm charges a $5 admission fee per person, which can be applied toward your berry purchase. We only bought $9 worth of blueberries between the two of us, and the staff kindly charged us only for the berries without collecting the admission fee. They also provide waist-mounted picking buckets. It’s cash only and remember to bring your own container or bag. Great value, friendly staff, and definitely worth a visit.”

“So many blueberries!! Came here a few weeks ago and there were a lot of bushes of blueberries full of fruit. There are several varieties so definitely recommend picking from different lanes. I don't know what the variety is called but I really like the blueberries all the way at the end of farm. I went in the afternoon and there were a few families there but since the farm was quite wide, it didn't feel crowded at all. The entrance fee was $5 which can be counted towards the blueberries you end up taking home.”

“What a great place to pick blueberries! The young folks checking us in wet friendly and hospitable! Left them a tip! They weighed out containers before we picked. We walked out to the back field which was not far. The abundance of berries and the healthy bushes was unbelievable! The price of the berries was more than fair and totally worth the 45 min trip. Ended up with 20 lbs. I hate to write so positively because I’d rather keep this place secret! We will definitely be back with bigger containers.”
