In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Ohio, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Ohio.

  • Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Sara and her family are always a pleasure to shop with. Depending on the season, they have beautiful plants and produce, fresh chickens and eggs, as well as bread, milk and jams. Everything we've purchased over the last couple of years has been high quality, fresh and delicious, and the prices are reasonable (usually the same as or just a little below farmers' markets). I highly recommend Berryhill Farm.”

“Always a wonderful experience. I try to visit at least 1-2 a year if you have young children or any age this is a fun trip trust me your kids will enjoy picking their own berries. Just see their little faces is priceless”

“Beautiful place! Has a variety of pickings during different seasons! Reasonable prices! Highly recommend! Definitely plan on going back! I will sell they make you buy a bucket for a $1 if you don’t bring your own.”

“Stayed overnight in our camper as we were passing through town as part of the Harvest Host program. Grounds were beautiful. It was very peaceful and quiet. We left with some fresh made butter and syrup.”

“This is a great self pick berry farm. They also have a little self shed where you can buy other products. It is a great place to bring the kids.”

“My fiance and I went here for a date last night. The prices are reasonable and the blueberries tasted SO GOOD!! I only wish we'd bought more!”

“Beautiful farm. Highly recommend them for produce, berry picking, and whatever else they happen to have going on.”

“Went to their Saturday festival and all picked out before 10:45. Then went back on Wednesday, in the recommendation of staff at the tent. Looked on the Internet which said open, tried to called twice and no recording saying closed. Drove over 45 minutes one way to get there, lady was not pleasant and honestly I saw there were plenty of berries I could have picked for a few minutes and she could have weighed and charged for. Where was the customer service?? I even explained all the above to her. No matter, won't go back! Won't give a good recommendation. I ended up going to Peifer's Orchard fruit market on 68 near Young's. I bought fabulous berries there and didn't have to pick. Same pricing. Plus Peifer's had many other amazing things!! 4590 US 68 Yellow Springs.”
