Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Ohio.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“1st time here today, and had an amazing time! Compared to patches/fall fests like Young's Dairy and Waynesville, this is my favourite. Lucas Bros Fall Fest was well out together, not overly crowded, had a great dining selection and pumpkin picking selection. This is a good fall fest to do with children or adults. There is a petting farm, pumpkin patch, a pick your own pumpkin patch, fire pit, corn maze, hay ride, shop, and games. I bought a HUGE pumpkin while there and the help from the staff was so nice. This is my new favourite Fall activity!”

“For the last 7 years, I have held my fall client appreciation event at Lucas Bros Farm. We have hayrides, pumpkins, and cute animals, plus they allow me to bring in food trucks, and a DJ! Every year they have been great to work with and have exceeded my expectations. My clients are always raving about the location and I plan to hold my 8th annual event here as well!”

“Just went to the Lucas Bros Fall Fest and had a great time. Everyone was friendly and the facilities were clean and well kept, awesome selection of a variety of pumpkins and gourds! Cute animals at the feeding area; they offer a hayride but we did the corn maze. It was fun and well done. Would recommend coming here for some fall fun! Lots of things for kids to do.”

“It was really fun & enjoyable. My 3 year old ( & other kids) had a blast on the bounce house and playground equipment. My little one also liked the animals, train ride, hay ride and pumpkin bowling. We didnt make it to the corn Maze but I'm sure that was was fun too. Will come back next year and try their food truck or something.”

“We had a great time! Gets better every year. Corn maze was a first for us - our 5 year old led us to the end. The farmers who did the hayride and tractor pull were very patient with kids and super friendly. So much to do here now. Definitely worth the money for wristbands :)”

“Such a fun family setting. Cute animals, a fun hayride, extensive corn maze for the adults, and a smaller one for the kiddos. Cold cider and yummy food, with tons of packaged food stuff in the barn. Can't forget the pumpkins! So many pumpkins.”

“Nice place to take the family. They have some small "attractions" set up that the 13 dollar entrance fee covers, plus you get a small pumpkin after the hay ride. The place is cute, neat and tidy, however it still feels like most of America at this point, where you pay to get in so that you can pay for other things once you've paid to get in. There's a big barn store that sells trinkets and treats. The pumpkin patch is overpriced in my opinion, charging 54 cents per pound of pumpkin. Paid over 15 dollars for a 35lb pumpkin I could've gotten at Kroger for 4 bucks, but this is what the good ol U.S of A is now all about. Overall good time with the family however, just trying to be as honest as possible, not flame the local business. Just my honest two cents.”

“The atmosphere was beautiful, the people were nice, the prices were alright- BUT the "family fun" hayride was diSGUSTing. How can you call it family freindly if there are mutilated body parts and creepy Halloween store BABIES ON the HAYRIDE TRAIL??? AWFUL. So many kids go on that ride because they say it's for families!! Ruined the experience. Everything else was great- VERY DISSAPPOINTED. Will not be going back.”
