“This is a nice market with live music and primarily artisan vendors. There are three vendors in particular who provide unique creations that I like. One vendor paints native animals as well as petroglyphs on homemade tapa cloth. Another vendor is a woodworker who makes various items from native koa wood, and finally there's a craftsman who creates carvings from native Hawaiian woods. We visited on Wednesday and Friday. Highly recommended.”

“Wow, stumbled upon this gem thanks to a street sign and it's like finding a treasure chest of local goodness! 🌴🎶 From fresh coconuts to talented artisans, this market is a mini paradise of flavors and fun. The live music is like the icing on the pineapple cake! 🍍🍰 Definitely worth making a pit stop – my taste buds are still doing the hula! 💃🕺🥥🛍️”

“Great outdoor market to visit, people who run and sell here are some of the friendliest I’ve met while vacationing in Kona and prices are very reasonable considering the craftsmanship you’ll find at this market. Highly recommended making the trek from wherever you’re staying.”

“I liked strolling around at the farmers market. Really liked the really beautiful traditional Hawaiian knives and weapons made by Eddie Lucena. They are really spectacular. He used Koa wood for handles.”

“3 rows worth of vendors, easy access to bathrooms. Good mix of food/snack vendors along with jewlery, clothing and wood work artisans. Jewlery was pretty, well priced and vendors were friendly. Good way to enjoy an early lunch snack and see some cool treasures.”

“We went here thinking its a FARMERS market. This is an artesian market. We stopped by Ho'oulu market and it was cute! Lots of local artists and their work. A bit more geared to tourists I would say but definitely a fun quick stop to make on your way to or from kona town on Wednesdays or Fridays”
