What visitors say

“Great combination of farmers market, gift shop, and café! Had the corn chowder and a chai latte. Both were delicious. My wife enjoyed the bacon scone and a latte. They have great local produce, meat, and dairy products, as well as jams, honey, and prepared foods. Beautiful annuals and vegetable plants for sale. Ceramics, woodworking, jewelry, and wool products (including yarn and roving, as well as finished goods), and handmade books, all by local artisans. Friendly folks behind the counter, and the regulars seem very friendly as well. The place has a great vibe!”

“Love them I think it’s one of the best lattes in town with yummy homemade syrups. Beautiful staff and QUIET. Plus you can shop all the local farm fresh goods in their store. It’s locally owned by a co-op of farmers and our fellow and local businesses and farmers need our support more than ever. Rose Hill is my happy place. It’s not overrun by students studying either, which I don’t mind them studying it’s just sometimes very loud in the places where they choose to study. I don’t want to listen to Lady Gaga while I’m trying to send emails and work.”

“Erin and Ty are amazing human beings with a level of community-oriented service that will most CERTAINLY bring me back as a regular customer. Great first-time experience. Will shop again! Espresso was excellent, dialed in. Lots of grocery items: organic, local, and farmer-owned. You can certainly taste the difference from Kroger. Will be my new go-to place for nutritious grass-fed heritage beef, greens, fruits, and many other healthy, fresh produce.”

“Open 8:30am-6:30pm, daily. We stopped by for lunch, they don't have ready made food but a beautiful market with vegetables, kimchi, granola bars, wool, handmade soap, tea, honey, meat, eggs, potatos, and more! This cooperative is clean, spacious and well put together. We'll definitely be coming back regularly! Great customer service, appropriate atmosphere and very very clean restrooms. Good work, great addition to Bloomington community.”

“Cute place that sells croissants from muddy fork bakery. Some of the best croissants I’ve had in Bloomington or Indiana for that matter. They will toast it for you if you ask. The vibes here are great- featuring a market with only local goods and a space to read books, play games or admire plants while you sit and drink/eat.”

“Very welcoming grocery and cafe with lots of local products/produce! I purchased a slice of sweet potato cake with a spiced icing, and I am here a day later to tell everyone that it is AMAZING. I thank the baker, and wish I could eat this cake everyday oh my god.”

“Great croissants and all the food & drinks look awesome! Beautiful organic veggies, meats, bread, and food products from local farms and vendors, as well as cute art pieces and plants and a nice space, plus welcoming staff! New favorite spot!”
