“Over the years I've bought a variety of meat and eggs from Schacht Family Farm's booth at the Broadripple Farmers' Market. They are not inexpensive but the chicken and meats I've bought from them have been very good. What prompted this review, though, was their bacon ends. I have no idea who Schacht Farm has process their pork, but they did a fantastic job with the bacon. Smells like a campfire in the pan and, even though it was bacon ends, it was meaty, crisped beautifully and tasted like the bacon my grandfather raised and smoked himself. Highly recommended.”
