A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“AMAZING! My husband and I could not have been happier with our stay at the adorable cabin. The owner Dan was super friendly, even went out of his way to bring us homemade blueberry scones and muffins. Ian, the property manager was really helpful and responsive to every thing we could possibly need. The property itself was gorgeous! We had no idea about the million dollar view that awaited us when we pulled up to the property. The hot tub was lovely, we enjoyed that while watching the sunset with a campfire going. The cabin itself was clean and cozy, and the bed was comfortable. There are some trails behind the cabin that we enjoyed walking and breathing in the nature and beauty around us. Just super peaceful and serene, we would definitely come stay here again if we find ourselves in the area! The people managing and running the property are just the nicest people and if we could leave them a 6 star review, we would!! Highly recommend!!!”

“We had the most special stay at Blueberry Brook Farm Resort!! We were in the area this past weekend for our daughter's college graduation, and Blueberry Brook was the perfect location for our stay and Graduation Celebration!! From the very beginning of confirming our reservation to the last detail of checking out, Ian was an amazing help!! The property was so beautiful, and the Farm House, School House and Rumpus Room had everything we could ever need. The house was well stocked and so welcoming, we felt as if we were staying in someone's private home. And, the daily fresh baked muffins and scones were so delicious and such a thoughtful touch. We wish our stay could have been longer, and we would definitely love to return for a stay in the future!!”

“We hosted our team retreat at Blueberry Brook Resort Farm recently, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond - flexible, responsive, and genuinely hospitable, making the entire stay seamless. The property is beautiful, rich with history, and offers such a unique and inviting setting that’s perfect for retreats, events, or group getaways. We loved how customizable the experience was - from a private chef to a baking class with the owner, to a yoga class and team activities. I highly recommend this special place for anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind venue with warmth, charm, and endless possibilities😍🙌✨”

“My friends stayed with Dan and Melissa at Blueberry Brook Farm while they were visiting their son at Hamilton. I already knew the property because of the walking and biking trails, but I had no idea how magical it would be from a guest's perspective until I visited while my friends were guests. From the homemade blueberry scones and muffins to the beautiful buildings, grounds, and shared spaces, to the trails lit by fairy lights--Dan and Melissa have made a magical place here. If you are visiting for Hamilton College or any other reason, THIS IS THE PLACE!”

“My husband and I last minute needed a place to stay for the night Saturday into Sunday and they absolutely delivered. We had such an amazing night and everyone was so kind and accommodating. We had to leave early so we could pick up our kids from their grandparents and they made a plate full of amazing blueberry muffins hot and straight out of the oven. Also their dog was the cutest little dog. Super sweet. Thank you all so much for your time and being able to accommodate us at such short notice.”

“It was so good to be home, at Blueberry Brooke. Where a legend of hospitality (my mother) and our family’s living work of art (Blueberry Brooke), is being preserved, honored, and expanded by a true visionary, Dan Williams. Dan is a wild man with no shortage of grand plans for his 250+ acre slice of heaven. His passionate way of being is contagious. Anyone looking to be rejuvenated and inspired by energy, art, nature and adventure needs to make a pilgrimage to Blueberry Brooke Farm Resort.”

“I stayed in the cabin over the summer it was wonderful. You can sit and watch the sunrise and I must say the blueberry scones paired well with the porch overlooking a pond.Just about every morning I woke up too fresh baked warm scones 🙂Plenty of biking or walking trails behind cabin. It was so peaceful way up in the woods. The little hot tub was a treat for viewing the stars at night.”

“This property is beyond stunning! We stayed as a wedding party for a long weekend and had everything we possibly needed. It’s quiet, with beautiful scenery and unique victorian features. We enjoyed the hot tub, cold plunge, pool table, karaoke machine, multiple fire pits and much more. Terry and her staff were more than accommodating and truly went above and beyond.”
