Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Visted the farm as a future farmer who wanted to get an experience of farming. The owner welcomed me in, gave me the little knowledge and advice he had. I like the fact that if I forgot to wash my fruits from him, they where already washed 😂. I loved the positive energy of the farm, that radiates to the community, nature and environment. The Fink Family, Thank you for the experience. I hope one day you will come and see my farm when it picks up 😊. In Uganda we have a saying that goes like "Onsalidde ga nkolwa" to the effect of, "You have given me the advice of the mongoose (clever advice". The advice of the mongoose saved the lives of the other mongooses. I hope that my farming skills will improve from a bit of tips you have given to transform others. Thanks again Franklin Wasswa (Uganda)”

“Best you pick fruits! My daughter and I love the experience and getting them fresh tastes so much better then store bought. Last year we also went to the veggie stand at least 5-6 times for some fresh veggies. Amazing owners who really think about customer needs and the staff are always right there to help and have a friendly smile. Will be heading back for many years to come.”

“We've been visiting this farm for a few years now, and it never disappoints. This was our first time picking blueberries, and we really took our time—every berry was sweet and delicious! We're planning to freeze some to enjoy through the winter. We always love coming here—the staff is warm and welcoming, and there's a great variety of fresh products to choose from.”

“A beautiful place with farm grown veggies. They also have meats like sausage and hamburger. I saw ham and some cheeses. Everything looked fresh. They even took it upon themselves to replace 2 eggplants that they felt had some bruising. Will definitely go back. The tomatoes looked so good. I can't wait to eat a good Ole mater sandwich (in my southern accent).”

“Awesome place to get a ton of locally grown farm goodies. I've been picking strawberries and blueberries in the summers there since I was little, and they are always DELICIOUS. We also recently bought (pre-ordered) the wet sourdough starter, and it has done wonderfully.”

“The strawberries are scrumptious. Nothing like store bought. More sweet. Even my son-in-law said "I don't see why people pick strawberries when you can buy them". Then afterwards he said " These are good. Now I get it". Super sweet and helpful employees too!!!”

“The people were so nice, and there were tons of good berries to pick! They bring you out on the Kubota to a part of the field. Paid $34 for the two white bucketfuls seen in the photo I'm posting.”

“Best U-Pick!! Plus can't wait till their veggie stand opens too!! They only sell what they grow.”
