“Owners, Bernie and Brenda McNamara, began their blueberry farm in 2016. After retiring, he wanted to grow blueberries and sought the perfect growing conditions, which they found near Johnson City, TN. If you visit their U-pick farm, you will be treated like friends and given a crash course on blueberry types. You may also find Bernie at the local Johnson City Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings selling baskets of blueberries.”
“I took my 85 year old father with me to pick berries here— we had the best time!!! We talked and laughed and reminisced!!! Brenda and Bernie were both so kind and helpful— we enjoyed talking and laughing with Brenda. The blueberries were abundant and delicious!!! Thank you!! ( Ps— the Bluebarb Pie and jam that I made were delicious— and we’re anxiously awaiting the final product of Blackberry Bourbon that dad is making!!)”
“First time coming here and it was the best experience ever! The girls had a great time and we got to pick from their oldest bushes! The berries were so good and they don’t spray them with any pesticides or anything! I would recommend wearing bug repellent and bringing gloves. Will definitely be back. Oh & Brenda was the sweetest lady! 😊”
