Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“My family has been picking blueberries at The Blueberry Patch Farm every summer for the last 18 years. They are not "organic" but are a "no spray" farm, and every season we declare the berries taste better than the year before. Their variety is wonderful and we often pick in different rows to mix the wonderful varieties together. Pricing is extremely fair, currently at $2.50/# for you-puck, with an even greater price if you commit to picking over 100# that season (doesn't have to be same day). We almost always do, as we love stocking our freezer full for the winter and to share with family throughout the year. We often just run out at the start of the next picking season, workout worrying to ration too much. It is well worth the time out at the patch, enjoying the nature time and early morning sunshine with family and friends to enjoy such delicious bounty the year through.”

“Beautiful farm with fantastic berries of many varieties, with a very good blueberry-guarding dog. (We are not sure about her blueberry-herding skills, but she seemed very clever, so might be able to manage that too) Easy drive from Eugene, easy parking, and tall mature bushes provide partial shade. They have quality picking gear (harnesses and buckets) and the owners are very nice. (And Chuck is an apparently talented painter to boot!)”

“Friendly welcome. A quick and thorough explanation and we were directed to an overabundant row of berries. Thank you kind sir, and owner. Once We got into the Summertime rhythm the picking was easy. Good prices on the good fresh berries. The dog is good to greet you too. Be nice to return.”

“These blueberries are so flavorful this time of year! There was an art fair with great deals on painting and other hand made items too. Very busy this weekend but more than enough parking and buckets.”
