Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“OMG this is the cutest, pumpkin patch around. We are from the San Joaquin Valley, it is well worth the drive. They have a FREE corn maze for all, the have a FREE hay bale maze for littles, there are many picture ops, there were animals to see, there were slides and face painting. Then they had a snack bar for minimal fee. The pumpkins were out of this world, so many different types and sizes to choose from and there again the prices were low. Our 5 year old granddaughter totally loved it. Okay Grammy, Poppy, Mommy and Daddy had a good time as well. Make sure you find the time to go, the staff was super friendly, I know we will be back next year.”

“Been coming here for YEARS. Never felt like the owners would give anything less for the community. Great food kiosk to enjoy while we were there, the animals on the farm like the peacocks, ducks, chickens, geese were so cute to look at. Easy parking on a Sunday. The prices are amazingly set for the sizes of these pumpkins which surprised me compared to other patches I’ve been to around the state. Love the corn maze since we actually made it to the “end” lol. Will be here every year if I could. Great place for a date as well. Thank you Borchard Farms.”

“This place was awesome! The kids had a ball, the slides, the obstacle course, the farm animals, the spooky decorations, and the favorite pumpkins were found everywhere! We had a fair priced snack and when we finally made it through the checkout we were shocked about how reasonably priced it all was. Wish we got more pumpkins!”

“I e taken my daughter to Borchard Farms for the pumpkins every October. She enjoys it ever time. The variety of pumpkins to choose from is large. Pumpkins of all colors, shapes and sizes. Additionally, the decorative pumpkins around the farm give it a lively and festive atmosphere. Also, can’t go wrong with a corn maze. :)”
