Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Stopped by the strawberry stand and ended up buying 2 cases!! 8 packs to a case.OMG these strawberries are to die for. They are so sweet and the sweet smell of them drove me crazy driving home to Fresno! Gave my next door neighbour some and my boss and a friend. They go well with fresh cream or ice cream! Oh and they are Organic strawberries! Very reasonably priced! $5.00 a pack or $36 for a case! A must to stop by when you’re in Watsonville or even if you’re passing through.”

“Really organic product, a small gray-green caterpillar, I found on a berry, was a proof to it :) Moreover, strawberries were picture perfect, even the one with the caterpillar, and very very flavorful, but actually sweet. P.S. If you're local, go buy from their stand. They'll charge you less than any of your close by grocery store. You'll pay a difference with your gas, but it worth it.”

“My FAVORITE strawberries ever! They are sweet, juicy, and everything in an ideal strawberry. Everyone who works here is incredibly nice and you can tell their products are a labor of love. So fortunate to live close to this farm and have them at my local Whole Foods in Capitola!”

“Best strawberries around! They sell their berries at Whole Foods and Berkeley Bowl, so you know quality is top notch. Make sure to stop here, they taste even better straight from the farm.”

“Amazing strawberries, a real family farm - not the agri-business berries you find at the market. Great tasting and juicy berries.”

“Nicest people on Earth. Almost as sweet as their strawberries! They washed each berry so we could eat them in the car.”
