“I can't believe I had never heard of or been to this farm. As a life-time resident of Nassau county, while I enjoy fall trips out east to pick pumpkins and do all of the "fall things" I dread the long drive, especially now having a newborn. Long drives and trips can become disaster quick with an unhappy baby, lol. Was so suprised to visit brightwaters farm (only 15 minutes away) with family (including a 3 year old boy) and find all of the things kids love about fall farms, for a fraction of the price. They even had wagons at the front entrance for i suppose kids to sit in or to hold your pumpkins..so it's not necessary to bring your own! I'm not a fan of white post, the animals seem neglected and out of place and the price is absolutely ridiculous for admission. Brightwaters farms absolutely was better in mine and my families opinion. For 20$ you can do so much with the kids on a relatively small farm (there's a higher price point which included inflatable slides and such, but it's absolutely not necessary). They had tractor rides with a great musician singing and playing guitar while you rode around-(everyone on board was singing along), pony rides, petting zoo, pumpkin patch, wooden playgrounds, small real-life tractors for the kids to sit on, beer, wine, food concessions including burgers and roasted corn, great photo opportunities and a gift shop selling pies, cider, donuts, and candy apples. This farm was super convenient and clean- my only gripe was the excessive amount of bees, but I have to say I didn't see anyone being stung..with sugary foods and drinks galore it was to be expected. Highly recommend paying a visit.”

“This is a wonderful location for the family for a quick in and out. The pumpkins are laid out in a field so you get the experience of a field but only quality pumpkins are there to grab. They charge 69 cents a pound which was great we got 4 large and 5 small pumpkins for like $50. The price on the stands is reasonable. The only thing overpriced is the idea of the bracelet for $20 for the kids 12 and under... it only has like 4 inflatables so don't waste your money. The staff is out of this world friendly! The farm provides wagons to pick up your pumpkins and bring them out to an area to load the car! So they hayride is neat they sing but it's very short so don't be afraid of the line it goes quick. Overall this is a wonderful place for 1 to 2 hours with the kids. You could stay longer but not much. It's totally @FamilyTimeIs approved!”

“A small but cute local town farm. Every year they have a fall festival which usually lasts till the end or week before the end of October. We went when it was drizzling and rain expected so they only that the pumpkin patch and the store open. We also didn’t have to pay admission for the day maybe due to the weather. The have a little place where you can feed the farm animals and a wooden play boat thing for photos and kid fun. usually during festivals they have inflatables for kids to enjoy and a hay ride ride. Check website for their updates”

“The shop had nice gifts and if their pumpkin beer is still available it’s delicious. The Santa was cute for pics. Fun things to explore for young children. Didn’t realize I was there years ago for pumpkin picking with my daughter when she was younger but such a wonderful place. Small but inexpensive with fun animals to explore year round 💕”

“Nice small farm to bring family pumpkin picking. Be prepared to come early as parking is first come first serve. Definitely worth the price compared to other farms on Long Island . Apple cider donuts are excellent a must try .”

“Brightwaters Farm is such a wonderful place for families! The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and welcoming. We especially loved the puppet show — the kids were absolutely delighted! We’ll definitely be coming back again.”

“It was a cute little place. We went on the weekend, so we had to pay $20 per person, including the kiddos. There was a magician, a plate spinner, face painting, a little ship playground, tractor rides, and balloon animals that were included with the price. For $10 more per person you can have unlimited bounce house and mini tractor rides. The pony ride and feeding animals cost extra, no matter what you pay to get in. If you want the cute pumpkin shaped Cider Sippies, go to the little shop before the bounce houses... trust me on that one. Shorter line and small discount, at least when we went... The store is cute, had pumpkin pie, gallons of fresh cider, and some Halloween decor. Also, I hate to have to say it, but if you or your child spill popcorn there, please clean it up...”

“This place is Clean, abundance of entertainment and engagements , plenty of friendly staff , and over all fun place for family . Only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is because the food is at a 2 -3 star level . No fresh lettuce , tomatoes , pickles or onions options for burgers . Only options are typical fast Food and from what I purchased it tastes like they all came from a frozen bags .condiments provided were on a economical quality. What brought me up from giving the venue a 3 was there baked doughnut , they were very good .”
