Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kentucky.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We've been going to Britt's Orchard for over 15 years! Tim and family always take such good care of us. My boys have made some of their best traditions and memories there: feeding Eeyore the donkey, getting lost in the corn maze, picking their own pumpkin in the U-pick patch, digging in the corn pit. And my favorite, choosing my variety haul of pumpkins and gourds. Go check it out, too!”

“Legitimate pumpkin patch and corn maze. What I expect for a true, farm fall activity (not what you’d find at Jackson’s orchard). Excellent prices for pumpkins. Corn maze is a fun challenge because you don’t have a map or photo to go off of.”

“Large selection of pumpkins and fall decor. Loved the playground area for my grands. We were able to go out and pick our own pumpkins or select from the many on display. Beautiful mums as well.”

“Great place to visit! We loved being able to pick our own pumpkins straight from the patch and the playground and corn pit were a lot of fun for kids!”

“Super nice people. Lots of pumpkins. Good price options.”

“great place great people”

“Selection looked great, and everyone was very nice. I was unable to purchase any pumpkins as they are cash or check only. I realize this is largely my poor planning; however, it is not noted on the website. Would highly recommend noting the cash only option; or adding some form of electronic payment like cash app, Venmo, or PayPal.”

“Great! But you can’t go and pick your own pumpkins straight out of the patch. You have to choose between already pre picked pumpkins, but ALOT you can choose from.”
