A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Texas.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This is a great place to stop in and smell the Lavender. Yes it is a farm, they have rows and rows of lavender you can pick your self. The gift shop has everything from linen spray, oils, seasoning, candles, balms, soaps, lotions, Jams and jelly’s. Let’s not forget the second room with Shirts, decor, jewelry and lavender plants you can purchase. Must try the lavender lemonade, it’s delicious. They also have ice cream , drinks and yes lavender cookies. Off to the side of the gift shop they have goats you can feed. Outdoors is shaded , with picnic tables , great place to have a sac lunch or picnic. Staff was very knowledgeable on their products. Most are made on site. If your in the area make the detour and check it out. They have a lavender festival in the spring”

“Love this Sweet Cute Farm! This was our 2nd time coming but unfortunately Laverder field wasn’t in Bloom. We still enjoyed walking the grounds and feeding the animals ! The gift shop is adorable and has many Lavender items for sale! I purchased rooms & linen spray and some hand and body lotion a must! Ladies in shops was very nice and informative! They let us know about Chappell Hill maps and QWERTY code to pull up into on driving around area for Bluebonnets as well! They said Lavender should be in bloom end of April or May!”

“Won this gorgeousness basket from the Lavender Farm at last nights fundraiser. Includes culinary lavender, lavender lip balm and soap, lotion and cleansing gel. Tea, peach and lavender jam, plus scones baking mix. Every item is beautifully packaged and the dried lavender smell is a pretty fragrance. Hope to get to see the farm one day!!”

“It's such a beautifully kept farm. The shop is so cute and has such a great variety of products. The shop keeper was just so sweet, friendly and very informative. We came late in the season so we didn't harvest any sprigs. We did purchase a perfume, some jelly, soap, and some a bundle of lavender. It is just lavender paradise! We also bought a couple of lavender plants. She gave us a crash course on growing it properly and gave us written instructions. We closed out our visit by petting and feeding the goats!”

“Great outdoor experience at this farm. The lavenders were in bloom and we were able to pick some. They provide you baskets for the flowers and scissors. They have peach trees aswell and eating the fresh plucked fruits was the added advantage. One word of caution - use a bug spay - currently during summers the population of mosquitoes is large. The bees were not so much an issue as the mosquitoes. You can have a picnic with your family or friends for couple of hours. A place just a stones throw from major city.”

“Beautiful spring view of country road to the farm. Cute gift shop. They have two lavender fields, one just planted and another mature. The gazebo of the field is great for family pictures.”

“I was so excited to visit this farm. I invited my sister. She drove an hour to my house and I drove an hour to the farm. When we arrived there was a tour bus of blind people that was loading up and leaving and about to leave. When my sister and I walked in and I saw a Holy Bible at the front door. I was impressed but, I noticed we weren't greeted. So we as in any shopping fashion looked around for goodies. Later, the lady behind the counter said to my sister and I that the bus was leaving. Neither one of us are blind and we walked around the store without running into glass shelves. So she saw the look of confusion on our face and asked aren't we on the tour bus? We said no and she proceeded at her task behind the counter. A couple walked in with a child and we noticed she greeted them and offered water to them. She struck up a small conversation and was telling them about the new arrivals. Don't want to state the obvious but we didn't feel welcomed. Needless to say, I was disappointed in my experience. I was so excited to visit. I apologized to my sister for having her drive so far out and we both had a bad experience. So suggested that we make the best of our day and to not let that ruin our day. I surely hate this because I have to find another lavender farm to visit. Hopefully, that experience will be totally opposite.”
