Charlotte's Blueberry Park

“A wonderful place! We have been going to this park for years. There's always plenty of room to spread out and even when the park is busy you feel secluded among the blueberry bushes. There's so many big, beautiful bushes you can come away with a big bunch of delicious berries! We always have such a good time at the blueberry park! And the blueberries are the most delicious I've ever tasted! There's also picnic tables, benches, and a small playground to enjoy on top of picking berries. I did see one homeless guy sleeping on a bench but he didn't seem to be bothering anyone, just sleeping.”

“If you want a different experience, picking blueberries certainly is not the same as a walk in the park, but it makes for an enjoyable, and unique afternoon. Make sure to bring some type of receptacle. It is free to pick, but remember to practice good horticulture - leave unripened berries unharmed, and be careful not to break branches so that the plants will continue to fruit. Also, remember to soak and clean the berries afterwards. Good luck and happy hunting!.”

“Great place for a tranquil walk and now is the time everything is starting to bloom. Pretty soon it'll be Free Blueberry picking.”

“The blueberries aren't ripe yet, but it was still a pleasant experience to walk through the patches and the surrounding park. It's a peaceful place with lots of songbirds and wildflowers. I suggest avoiding the unpaved trail that heads south from the patch. Although the forest itself is pretty above the ground, the floor is littered with garbage, and the area seems pretty sketchy. There weren't many people in the park, but of the few that were some were not sober. I didn't feel particularly unsafe, but not knowing the area, I imagine it would be better to be in a group than solo.”

“Great park. Bring a bowl and bring the family. Just stay away from the back part of the park if you dont want to encounter homeless. But they didnt bother us. Great little park for blueberries and blackberries!!”

“This is a familiar place for me. I took my kids here a couple years ago and there were more blueberries than people so definitely enough for everyone to enjoy! There are some bunny rabbits and walking trails with tables and benches. I believe there is a honey bucket as well. Small wooden playground.”

“Cute little Park unfortunately it's not in the greatest of areas a lot of homeless people in their cars are parked up and down the street right there by the park. But it is a cute little area not a lot of shade in some parts of the trail.”

“Nice park. Also available for the public to pick blueberries in the summer time. Only problem is the woods are flooded with homeless who like trash up the place. Otherwise a great park to walk through”
