What visitors say

“This place is a GEM in Lincoln. I've been here a few times in the winter to bring the kids sledding. I decided to explore tonight with the dog. Beautiful scenery, hills and valleys, and even a hidden pond! There's well beaten paths to follow and the grounds are meticulously kept. It neighbors a farm and you are able to see the horses grazing. Wander up the hill on the left to access port-a-potties and 2 enclosed bathrooms. Continue on for a short walk to access the pond and picnic tables. The whole walking loop is about 1.5 miles. Walk to the right from the parking lot towards the trees, and you'll find a hidden butterfly garden. This place has one of the best sledding hills in the area. There's a blacksmith shop on site that is open select weekends. Open year round, no charge, and limited off-street parking. Leashed dogs welcome. This place is way larger than I ever knew.”

“Chase Farm is so beautiful and is perfect for walking the dog and taking in the natural beauty. It has rolling hills, a walking path, multiple trails, it borders a cute farm with animals (great for the kids), and you feel like you are so far away from any city! It’s so quiet and pretty, a great place to unwind and breathe. Just know that some dog owners don’t always follow the leash law so if you are bringing your dog be alert.”

“THE perfect place for your dog to run and be free, my mental break place, running place and my dogs happy place. Be aware though, the police here will give you a fine if your dog is off leash....even if they're trained to your whistle. I like to go super early in the morning (5ish) when no one is there and I find it so peaceful. It's almost surreal there, like I've dreamt of a place like it once. You should check it out.”

“If you’re looking for peace and serenity this is the place to visit. I felt totally immersed in nature, away from people/tech, and could hear myself think. I visit parks, woods, conservations and the like, but this was its own special vibe. A great place to ground your energy. Protect and preserve spots like this at all costs!”

“Want a place to just be in nature and chill, with a bit of history thrown in, then head to Chase Farm in Lincoln RI. It is dog friendly, again owners need to be on leashes (as too many let their dogs off leash)!!! Walk around, find a place to sit and relax and just enjoy this green space!!”

“Beautiful place to walk your dogs with nice trails around the picturesque farm. The hills are real and great for exercise. There is even a pond for water dogs. There is a nice farmers market on Saturday as well.”

“Very good sledding / cross-country downhill skiing spot when the snow is sufficient.”

“Beautiful area with some forest, open grass fields, trails, and a small pond, and several picnic tables along the way. Trails are grass, dirt, and gravel with some steep inclines. There is a small garden with magnolia trees surrounding it and a stunning sycamore tree across from it. Dogs are welcomed on leash but I encountered many people with dogs off leash and far from their people so use caution.”
