Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in South Carolina.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Had a wonderful time with family. Kids really enjoyed picking and munching strawberries. The strawberries are juicy and very delicious, which are perfect for shakes and also to be eaten as it is. The lady at the counter was very friendly. We were told that they do not use any pesticides, which is a huge plus point. They accept cash/debit/credit card for payment. 1 gallon bucket, wherein you pick the strawberries will cost $12, which is pretty reasonable. Overall a wonderful experience and we will visit again.”

“The strawberries were very good. The price is very reasonable, a deal if compared. Do recommend 👌”

“Strawberries and the picking of them were great. To visit the park with the children was $10. Per person including the adults. That was ridiculous since all we did was supervise the children. It is the adults that bring the children’s revenue. We won’t go again. $20. Extra for adults was too much especially after the adults spent $40. For strawberries.”

“Have purchased for years and always pleased UNTIL NOW. Got a small basket...They wer nice and big and Red but they were as bitter as lemons and no flavor whatsoever. soaked them in 4 cups of sugar...didn't help at all. Can't understand why they have changed so. Very disappointed in this years yield.”

“I bought 2 of the boxes of strawberries yesterday for $44.79. My box, picked out by the employee, is mainly rotten, molded, squishy berries. I got about a quart and a half from the box. Not very happy right now. What a waste of money. 😡 😡 I have pics but don't know how to add them.”
