Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Illinois.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“So, we have never actually gotten out of our car and visited their patch however, their lighted jack o lantern display is a family tradition of ours. It must take so much time and effort to pull off this incredible display. We are so grateful to Crowley's for their dedication to this community event.”
