“Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery in Champaign, IL. They are an absolutely wonderful location, with great signage, easy access, a level gravel parking lot, fun goats, a farm store with local artisanal goods, and a SENSATIONAL farm-to-table restaurant. We visited with some goat kids before heading into Caprae Restaurant for dinner. We had the lamb shoulder, and the flat iron steak. Both were SUPER tasty, tender, and cooked perfectly. Not cheap, but worth the price; we were very happy with our choices. After dinner we picked up some artisinal garlic & lemon peel saucisson, garlic chèvre, goat milk gelato, and some Father’s Day cards from their on-site farm store. The goat milk gelato was a REALLY tasty dessert!”

“If you haven’t taken the time to drop by this delightful farm, give yourself permission to do so right away. Although my arrival was impromptu, my timing was rewarded with an exceptional wine tasting. The entire team, especially Lisa, she immediately made me feel like a neighbor. Check out their web site for upcoming events. Of course it’s so easy to make friends with all the adorable goats. Make time for a walk about along the trails on this gorgeous property. Come prepared to taste and take home an amazing variety of cheeses that will please your every desire and become a staple on your shopping list.”

“Amazing farm to table restaurant, had the BLT for brunch and the portion was huge. Loved browsing the store and picked up fresh goat cheese and locally made honey. You can visit the resident goats and you can even sign up for goat hikes. highly recommended!”

“I love this farm. The goats and employees are so friendly. They take really good care of their animals. Their products are really high quality and their cheese delicious. I definitely recommend this place.”

“Great people to help you out. Tasty food a friendly location for kids. Planted some seeds and petted some goats. Great cheese danishes and frozen dessert.”

“We love Prairie Fruits farm and Caprae restaurant! Always excellent service and phenomenal goats milk products. The restaurant never disappoints.”

“Really nice farm set up with goats to pet, a restaurant, and a farm stand. Try the goat milk gelato in the coffee flavor!”

“we were there for Cinco de Mayo. I have been there before and had nice meals. but when I walk out spending $55 for one taco, one drink and some measly sides it is wrong. The bowl of rice for $12 was the size of a coleslaw dish approximately 3 or 4 oz. The chips that were advertised with three different sauces had 1 oz of salsa three different ways and some chips. The cheese dip side was tasty but not enough dip. service was slow and had to stop the waitress two times to ask for water, and check, well, the goats are cute. now you can buy expensive cheese and gifts in their new gift shop. it'll be a long time before I'm back.”
